【About 関ジャニ∞（カンジャニエイト）】

関西ジャニーズJr.からの選抜メンバーで結成されたユニット。ローマ字ではKANJANI∞。

大倉忠義を除く7人で半ばユニットのような形で舞台やTV番組に出ていたが、関西テレビ（8ch）の番組にレギュラー出演していた事から、ジャニー喜多川社長のはからいで2002年12月に大倉が加入、8人組となり「関ジャニ8」としての活動が始まる。

デビュー時に「無限の可能性」を信じ、「8」を横にして「∞」表記に。公式の愛称も「エイト」となった。

一般的に「関ジャニ」と略されるが、関西ジャニーズジュニアとの区別がつきにくいために、関ジャニ∞は「エイト」、関西ジャニーズジュニアは「関ジュ」と略す。

ただし新聞など一部マスコミでは記事にする際の表記上の問題から「8」のまま。8月8日は「エイトの日」。 Kanjani fan must-have!
