아틀란타프라미스교회

할렐루야! 우리 주 예수 그리스도의 이름으로 환영하며 축복합니다.
지난 2013년부터 안디옥 교회의 명칭이 ‘아틀란타 프라미스 교회’로 변경되었습니다.

성경에서 이름은 그 사람의 인격과 본질을 의미합니다. 구약에서는 대표적으로 아브람이 아브라함으로, 야곱이 이스라엘로 이름이 바뀌었습니다. 신약에서는 시몬이 베드로로, 사울이 바울로 바뀌었습니다. ‘사기꾼’ 야곱이 ‘하나님과 겨루어 이긴 자’인 ‘이스라엘’이 된 것입니다. ‘갈대’ 시온이 ‘반석’ 베드로가 되었습니다.


사도 바울은 말합니다. ‘그런즉 누구든지 그리스도 안에 있으면 새로운 피조물이라. 이전 것은 지나갔으니 보라 새것이 되었도다. (고후 5:17)
그리스도 안에 있을 때 새로운 변화가 일어남을 강조하고 있습니다. 그런데 그리스도 안에 거하는 것이 우리들의 본래 자리입니다.

우리는 그리스도를 힘입어 살며 기동하며 존재(행 17.28)하도록 창조되었습니다. 본질을 떠나 살던 이전과는 달리, 우리의 원형을 회복하며 그리스도 안에서 새로운 삶을 발견하며 시작하는 곳이 교회입니다.

그래서 안디옥 교회는 이제 “아틀란타 프라미스 교회”로 새로운 3기 사역을 시작함과 동시에 교회의 본질에 더욱 충실하며 회복하는 중요한 자리에 서 있습니다. 교회의 본질적인 DNA는 그리스도의 몸이 되는 것 입니다.

‘교회는 그의(그리스도)의 몸이니 만물 안에서 만물을 충만하게 하시는 이의 충만함이라’ (엡 1:23)
예수 그리스도의 몸으로 Transform되는 교회의 삶으로 여러분을 초대합니다.
