[인사말]
한인기독교회는 이제 48주년을 맞이하고 있습니다. 덴버지역에 교포들과 타민족들을 위해서 복음을 전하며 사랑을 나누고자 힘써 왔습니다. 그리하여 덴버지역에 새로운 부흥의 불길을 일으키고 교회마다, 또한 목회자마다 영적 각성을 느끼면서 새로워지기를 꿈꾸고 있습니다. 이러한 꿈은 과거 이 미국땅에서 있었던 뉴잉글랜드 대각성과 아주사 거리의 부흥처럼, 우리 선조들이 일으켰던 평양 대부흥 운동과 원산 대부흥 운동처럼 제 2의 영적 부흥 운동이 덴버에서 일어나는 것입니다.

지난 2007년 11월, 송병일 목사를 담임목사로 모시고 가정교회 사역을 교회의 최우선 사명 삼아 말씀의 열정과 헌신의 기쁨을 나누고 있습니다. 이교도 사회에서 예수 그리스도가 남겨 놓은 복음을 전하기 위해 바울과 베드로를 통해 가정에서 복음을 전하고, 그 가정이 모판이 되어 많은 크리스찬을 전도해 왔던 초대교회의 꿈을 쫓아, 우리 교회는 '전도'와 '섬김'의 두 기둥으로 세워진 목장 속에서 교회의 원래모습을 찾고 있습니다. 개별 목장에는 헌신된 목자/목녀를 통해서 성도들을 돕고 섬기면서 복음을 나누며 선교하며 구제하는 일을 하고 있습니다.

우리 교회가 특별히 힘쓰고 있는 것은 장년 영어 목회(English Ministry)입니다. 1세와 2세가 서로 협력하여 1세의 열정, 헌신을 바탕삼아 2세가 풍부한 자원으로 복음 사역을 위해 최선을 다하기를 꿈꾸며 실천하는 교회입니다. 이러한 꿈은 모든 내용을 완벽한 이중 언어로 진행하는 공동 의회와 같은 곳에서 실천됩니다. 1세와 2세, 서로 화합하고 이해하기 위해서 시간이 많이 소요되지만, 또한 서로 불편한 것은 있지만, 그래나 한 가정에 여러 세대가 사는 것처럼 우리 교회는 1세와 2세가 동등한 위치를 가지려고 노력하고 가고 있습니다.

현재 RCC(EM)는 2014년 Andrew Chun 목사를 모시고 재도약의 기회를 꿈꾸고 있습니다. 덴버 지역에 부모를 따라 와서 이곳에 정착한 이민 자녀들이 모여서 함께 부모와 같은 신앙과 각자의 꿈을 찾는 공동체로 서가고 있습니다. (EM Worship Service @ every Sunday, 09:30)

한글사역부에는 오정석 부목사, 중고등부는 Justin Nam, 유초등부에는 Anna Park 전도사가 함께 한인 기독교회를 이끌어 가고 있습니다.
