1980년 2월 10일 이연행 목사의 개척으로 시작된 순천북부교회는
지금까지 하나님의 은혜 가운데 성실하게 성장해온 좋은 교회입니다.
2012년 12월 25일 북부교회를 개척하셨던 제1대 담임목사인
이연행 목사가 23년간의 목회생활을 마치고 정년퇴임을 하셨습니다.
그리고 2003년 4월 1일 유병근 목사가 제2대 담임목사로 부임하여
제2의 부흥기를 맞이하였고
2014년 11월 23일 김동문 목사가 제3대 담임목사로 부임하여
제3의 부흥기를 준비하여 힘차게 사역하고 있습니다.
"인생의 방황은 예수 그리스도를 만남으로 끝나고
신앙의 방황은 좋은 교회를 만남으로 끝이 난다“는 말이 있습니다.
여기 좋은 교회가 있습니다.
바로 순천북부교회입니다.
사도행전의 교회의 회복을 추구하며 각 사람을 하나님의 사람으로 세워서
가정을 회복하고 지역을 바꾸고 참된 복락과 평강을 이루는 교회입니다.
