About Candito Workout

Candito Workout is an app for a 6 week long training program made by Jonnie Candito.

You can read more about the training program on the official website or inside the app.

The main function of the app is to make the program easier to follow. Instead of trying to make excel work on your phone, you can now simply use the app. It will calculate the weights, you can choose optional excercises unlike in excel and some other features.

Great app overall, however the weights on week 3 aren't correct when compared to the excel sheet that is provided by Candito. The weights on the squats are the wrong way around, i.e the first squat day is lighter and the second is the heavier day with just the 1 set - you have it the other way around. If you could update this, the app would be almost perfect! Thanks.

Reading from Excel spreadsheets got so tedious. Thank God for this! Hopefully we'll see more improvements in the future. Great work!

Great app, easy to get set up and use! No more pulling up a spreadsheet on my phone.

It is all good except the bug where the 3rd week day 1 squat weight is invalid. It's higher than the official spreadsheet.

Could you add into this app an option to fill in numbers for the main accessories and the optional workout portion. Thank you.

I have done two cycle with this app and hope to start my third this weekend. I loved not having to log my workouts in a notebook or haul paperwork to the gym. Only thing I would add is a day by day completed button. Other than this I highly recommend the app.

Love this app , very easy and clear , but one small thing I noticed on the winning tab at week 6 , the deadlift portion does not fit onto the screen and does not allow me to scroll across to get a projected 1rm , if this can be fixed it would be perfect

Giving 5 stars because it's super basic and exactly the excel sheet. However when I click on each exercise making it red to say I'm done with the day, the red doesn't stay. So I still have to keep track of what day I'm doing instead of just looking at the last day that was done. Overall definitely will be using this for however many cycles I plan on doing!

It's not bad, but needs a few improvements. For example you may have 5 workouts for week 1, but on what days, and what days do you rest? We already know on the excel sheets, but it can be implemented here too.

It be a good idea if you could add weight for accessory/ optional exercises and add your own exercises not just the ones listed. Still good concept.

My only recommendation is that you add dates for this. A starting day and have an algorithm help you decide days on and days off

Week 3 squat and deadlift numbers don't match Candito's excel sheet. (Thanks for clearing that up.)

Everytime I want to complete a set,it kept not responding.Hope you guys can fix this

It's great. I guess you could add a way to tick off the sets that have been done to help keep track. Maybe a timer that counts down, instead of a stopper that just keeps counting up. So much better than dealing with a spreadsheet.
