Via Browser - Fast & Light - Geek Best Choice

OMG! This tiny browser is way too better than any other reputed android browsers. It has such smooth performance, perfect javascript execution and instant webpage loading that no other browsers like Chrome, UC, Firefox, Opera, etc. can deliver. Also, there are loads of customization that perfectly delivers every users requirement. Just give it a shot, and I'm sure you'd fall in love with it.

Very good browser but every time I tried to search something and try to open a webpage, it just gets stuck. I have to go back and hit that link multiple times to get it open. This only happens if the link is an add from Google (don't know if this is relevant?) But otherwise a very good app, light and fast.

Very newer a great browser, it's Fast, stable and full of great features that a lot of the bigger android browsers lack, such as back and forward swipe gestures, split screen support and home screen long press shortcuts. Only problem I have with it is that it doesn't automatically restore tabs after closing and re-entering the browser and sometimes even forgets while still running which is a MAJOR pain.

New UI is fine but I, the older user want easy functionality as prior version -Menu can have 5 buttons in each row, -Let user customise 1) What to put inside & outside the tools folder as per his preference, 2) Change the order of buttons in tools folder. - Update the User Agents -Saved pages titles have symbols in between, these titles had spaces in previous version but now they have '+ %' signs, that's annoying

Decent browser! But I have issues with add on after this new update. I'm always using via browser with advance download manager and this new update made ADM not launch upon clicking download link. Another one is, whenever I click choose file for uploading, the browser will open up location instead of file manager. Hope this problem can be fixed soon. Thanks

One problem encountered. It changes the background colour of my status bar, when the bg colours becomes white, I can hardly see the time n battery. It's really inconvenient. I like the overall simple design anyway :D

Truly fast, lightweight AND feature-rich (save webpage, view source, screenshot, resource sniffer, copy link, desktop site, full screen, import-export bookmarks, etc.). The speed and smooth experience is a m a z i n g. It almost feels like you are the one flying and zooming! And the design is sleek and minimalist -- this has the cleanest ui I've seen in a browser yet with the widest viewing space/screen. Cons, on the other hand is that THE RESTORE TABS AT STARTUP doesn't work. You can't exit from the browser by opening the bottom drawer and pressing that power button icon or else you lose all your tabs. You can still find them in your history ofc, so no worries, but it is tedious to do it everytime. There is a way to exit the browser without closing all tabs, but keep in mind, your tabs are bound to close at some point, accidentally or not. You can exit the browser without your tabs disappearing by pressing the phone's home button/hardkey. It's like minimizing the browser rather than closing it. If this is fixed, then this will truly be The Best Browser.

It's great! Beautiful and unbelievably fast! But it can't redirect urls to apps (I.e. Google play links) and it doesn't remember logins for long. Still, I can't go back to chrome because Via so quick!!

Kind of incredible how much functionality you pack into such a small file size and few permissions. Very good browser! One thing: An option would be nice to clear not only cache but also cookies, history and stuff at exit

Very light & speedy. However, I'd like to know what the left & right swipes are for? There's hardly any documentation. Also having a hard time with Facebook because for some reason it's so hard to click on the replies. It either clicks the "more" button or opens up the profile of the person under the replies.

One of the best browsers EVER! It is simple, clear, and fast. Customizable interface and additional helpful features are definitely worth downloading the app for. Only problem is page desktop view. Would be greatlg appreciated if the developers would fix this.

Only let down by clear history cleaner after exit. So small and you can even change the look of the starters page. Works better than Google chrome browser.

5/5 for its tiny size (as others developers are hungry to stretch the size of browser by adding many useless feature like NEWS FEED, MEDIA PLAYER, GAMES, OR IT MAY BE SUN EXPOSURE MANAGEMENT (Just joking) blah blah...) But you have focused on browsing only. I ll give 5 if ram consumption ll be 5mb or less. Thankx.

Really light and convenient. Almost perfect, I just need it to give me an option to open links to third party apps, say I clicked a playstore link it would automatically bring me to it via the browser itself, wish the option was there. Also when turning on go back without reloading, a script shows up at the top of the webpage, doesn't really hurt, but it would be nicer to have that cleaned , that still is a subtle error though. ADDITIONAL NOTE: LOVE THE DARK MODE.

I like this browser a lot , apart from two things (1) Cant find an option for tabs and (2) although I have the option ticked in settings to restore tabs on start up , it asks me everytime I start up the browser , it should do it automatically if I have that setting on !

Its just like UC Browser, a Chrome shell, tweaked & customized. fast but still a little bit unstable, Open Previous Tabs needs a bit more tweaking. All in all a very promising browser.

Awesome browser! So far all my problems have been resolved with each following update. Major thanks to the dev with their prompt responses and fixes.

Love this browser. Small and light. Only negative would be it doesn't direct links to their respective apps and redirects you to their mobile sites (i.e. YouTube).

Stunning! All the major web browsers like Opera, Chrome, UC etc seem to be getting worse with every update. THIS is what a browser should be like.

Better, smoother, faster, more options than others. Is as good as chrome and Firefox, and is better than the many others I've tried. Developers: I've selected 'Restore tabs on startup' but doesn't happen. Can you please help fix this? Samsung galaxy s7.

This really is a very good browser. It's way faster than others - even Puffin which was the next fastest I tried. And unlike Puffin AFAIK Via browser doesn't work by compressing content in US-based servers, so I'm getting correctly localised content too, not half-US half-UK like in Puffin. Don't get me wrong, Puffin's good, but Via is - amazingly - even better.

It fast indeed but, after 2 days of usage, my first impresion is that performance seems to be coming at the price of battery draining. And what a draining: started using it at 64%, opened facebook, scrolled ca couple of times, accessed one external link(in new tab) - a simple article, no gifs or other resource eaters. After 3 simple actions, less than 30 sec i was down to 62%. Al this time were running in background: system services, whatsapp,outlook and soundcloud Pretty hungy for my taste:) I'll try my chances with others, for now.

In my eyes this is the best browser.It has everything I want and I am very picky. Thank you. Rate 5 stars guys. You won't find a browser with night mode, no picture, default homepage, speed, free.

I absolutely hate how modern apps bombarding you with hundreds possibilities which you never gonna use. Via is different, simple and fast tool with a customisable display.

Nice fast browser. Customize homescreen is a nice feature. Ad blocker works great. Glad i found this one. I dont like all of googles spyware watching everything i do. Nice job developers. Nice job.

I'm speechless... Such a great browser in a tiny size. No bloats, no ads, no bullsh*t like others.

Instantly loved it. Like how lite it was. The loading of app is instant. Love that you can add scripts and add-ons that you want without overloading the browser. Very easy to use for anyone. And especially for those geeks like me!!

Apart from the weak adblock it is a really good browser,a local newsite ads not blocked or popup even if I manually add them.would give top marks if this sorted.other browsers block the ads.

It's nice.... Probably, it would be the best I ever tested, just such a pitty it closes from nothing and I loose all I was searching for . Please fix this bug and I reinstall back later!

Tap menu and then tap tab, and crash. I wish the dev could fix it. It's annoying bug.

Smooth and as fast as Chrome, light and clean, no ads. I've replace Chrome to Via as my default browser, just one thing I needed is able to save password.

Underlines here! Awesome. Now give me desktop site switch per tab, not for all tabs at once and that would be last. Via will be pretty cool browser then.

It would have been very good if there were icon in bookmarks. It would have been easiar and nicer to look at the browser. Overall its good but please give the bookmarks icon or make an option to give them icon from picture

Download manage is very complicated... Don't know how much is downloaded, status of download, etc. Need to improve download manager.

Stumbled upon it while looking for a clean, clutter free, minimalistic browser. This one checks all the boxes. It'll be my permanent android browser as long as it stays this way.

I would like to congratulate with the developers of this browser! The user experience is awesome! Of course there are some features that miss nowadays but I think you're working on it. Keep working!
