SDR Touch Key

I really like Marinov's work. After I purchased the Key, I used SDR Touch with other interfaces and always worked great, however, I encountered problem when using the new SDRPLAY. I understand this plug-in it still on progress. Everything initialize correctly and works great for a few minutes, then disconnects. I had to unplug it to make it work again. Using the Galaxy Note4.

Great responsive developer and awesome app. I can tune in my Raspberry Pi SDR from anywhere on Earth. My one feature request is to have IP (or multiples) stay in memory so I don't have to enter the address of the server each time.

I would like to suggest the option of AGC decay speed adjust for SSB reception, and better audio filtering (too hissy on narrower modes). Other than that, it's really good.

I use this a lot in combination with my raspberrypi via rtl_tcp. Would love a way to save IP addresses or something since every time the app opens it defaults to 127.0.0.1:1234 every time...

Cool app. With my DVB-T dongle, I can see signals from 25 MHz to 2200 MHz. I can actually tune all the way down to DC with the app, but my antenna is not matched for that range. I assumed that is out of band for my dongle as well. I really like the waterfall and live spectrum. User experience is seamless with all the features advertised. I only gave 4 stars because I feel that there are other features that Mr. (Dr. ?) Marinov could add to make this app truly stellar. A few ideas of mine: - Live constellation view outside of FM mode. I would really like to look at BPSK and QPSK constellations that could be generated in ISM bands - Demodulation of other signals such as PSK and FSK. - Settable integration bandwidth for power readings - Adjustable resolution bandwidth - Markers with deltas so that I could compare power levels of two or more signals (or portions of a signal) in band. - Adjustable power scale and resolution in spectrum and waterfall - Absolute calibrated power in dBm on the spectrum. That might be pretty hard because of the array of devices that this app can use. - Different color maps and adjustable time resolution for the waterfall

I'm a complete novice, it was a shock to have it working perfectly on first attempt! Superlative performance and so far no complaints whatsoever. Bargain!!!

Works great and has options for IF input and use with an upconverter. Well worth the price.

The best app out there for SDR dongles. I've been using these dongles for a while on my Linux box, and finally I can carry it with me everywhere I go. Is there was to make this SDR Touch Key icon disappear as most other apps do when you upgrade them to pro?

Awesome, works exactly as i'd hoped if not better. check your hardware compatibility and make sure you have correct dongle first and a USB OTG cable (use free ver to see if it works before you complain it doesn't work, because it does work - very well for the price.) Brilliant app, been stting here listening to air traffic for past hr works great, scan works well too once you save some frequencies, would like to be able to adjust time scanner takes to jump to next frequency after silence but thats only something nice to have, oh and being able to transfer frequencies from one category to another by check box in a multiple transfer would be cool too, though you might be able to, i'm still finding my way around it but is very intuitive. Would be better if the key didn't display an icon in the app drawer. Since it isn't an actual standalone app, and is more like a plugin.

Faulty No audio on HTC m8 wasted money wasted space phone reception drops annoyingly frequently since installed

This is rubbish. I bought this and all I get on my phone is "Thank you for purchasing SDR Touch!". It doesn't work, what a waste of money. There is no troubleshooting guide to find out why it wont work.

Hi, could someone pls help me. I have installed the demo and then bought the key. Demo now gone. When I press the OFF button then it bring up I window : use root access. What now, help pls

sdr touch and sdr touch key warning .. do not waste you on this. it will take more than 15minutes to set up the rtl2832 drivers and sdr touch key- dosent work and author will not refund!

On my Samsung Tab S tablet with driver installed, it hung on start at the welcome screen. 8-(

Well written, stable for running on Android phone. It's interesting to use SDR where you happen to be. Problematic power consumption running from phone battery, you'll really need external power.

I need to be able to set higher sample rates, I can do it in the driver but not in the app...

I have a Samsung S2 I9100 with official Android 4.1.2. The SDR App starts normally and working good, but when i try to press OFF button, or exit the application any other ways the phone is reloaded or hangs every time. May be i do something wrong?! Can You help me, please. I able to help with collecting any debug information if needed. I have SDK and adb installed. The phone is not rooted, but i can root it if needed! Hope that situation will be fixed. I read a FAQ section and found a question about "The application runs for a while, then crashes". I create an external power USB male to female pair with external power to female only. Nothing changes. Problem exists!!!

Hi Martin, 1-21-2014 . I purchased your SDR Touch Key on 1-19-2014 and have not been able to get it to work with my HTC DROID Incredible phone. I tried SDR Touch with a NooElec R820T SDR + DVB-T, powered by my 5 volt, 1 amp phone charger and connected to phone with a short cabled USB Hub. I also tried SDR Touch with a Digital Energy DVB-T+DAB+FM USB stick. All that happens is when the RTL2832U driver starts running, the circles keep spinning on display but I get no audio or spectrum display. On my phone, I set USB docking mode to APP, and I set USB connection type to “Disk Drive”, Internet, and HTC sync. Any idea why this would not work for me? I was really excited about using this as a spectrum analyzer for all the RF in my house; wireless phone, WiFi, etc, . Error Log; Ackquired wake lock. would a scan option be possible in future versions? either scan a set number of channels or between a set frequency range.
