Trip Tracker shows you information as you drive, right on your Android™ Wear smartwatch.

Features
• Speedometer: See your current speed and heading with a quick glance at your watch
• Secondary information: trip time, distance, average speed and max speed.
• Option to automatically launch when you start driving (can be changed to cycling or running).
• Show your recent trips on a map on your handheld device
• Displays as a notification, so that you can easily use other apps at the same time (such as navigation).
• Show as km/h, mph, or knots (configurable)
How to Start
There are four ways you can begin tracking your trip:
1. On your watch: Say "Start Trip Tracker" on the voice command screen.
2. On your watch: Tap your watch-face, scroll to the bottom, tap 'Start' and tap 'Trip Tracker'
3. On your phone: Use the button provided to start and stop tracking.
4. With option enabled: Start driving, and your trip will automatically start being tracked.
If the tracker was started automatically using the auto-start option, it will automatically stop when you get out of the car and start walking. If you started tracking manually, then tracking will continue until manually stopped.
Feedback and feature suggestions are encouraged. Please don't hesitate to contact the developer if you run into any issues, or if you would like to see any particular features in future releases. We will gladly take your advice on board to make this app more useful.
The accuracy of the information displayed in this app depends on the GPS accuracy of your phone, which can be limited at particular locations and times. This app will not work accurately if GPS location is unavailable or switched off (on your phone). The information displayed in this app should not be relied upon for determining compliance with speed limits or any other legal restrictions.

Seems to work well, and is accurate enough for my needs. I was bummed to find out that all stats aren't saved for review after ending trip. All you're able to see after ending is a map view. Stats such as time, average speed, and maximum speed are lost as soon as you tap "end trip". If you're interested in saving those be sure to write them down someplace before you end. If saving those can be implemented somehow I would likely raise to 5 stars.

The math and estimation in this app are not accurate, I will say that it detects that you are driving and launch but it does not get the accurate speed and distance sometimes

Tried playing music thru headphones the same time running trip tracker, turn off tracker, music works fine.

I can find the trip stats after the trip is finished other than the map. Also I just came home from the store and the app said I maxed out my speed at 581.9mph no wonder people were flipping me off.

I can now change my review :) this app works fantastically, it starts and stops it's self and uses a proper card notification rather than an open app. App has good support on the development side and is updated well.

At last found the root cause of alarm_wake_activity_detection wakelock, which caused phone never to sleep (fires about 10 times/minute, according to BBS). It's this app, even with autostart setting off. Nexus 5, Android 5.0.

Though it maybe my imagination but I think the app causes battery drain? Maybe my imagination. Had 54% last night after about 12 hours. What is not my imagination is the app does generate a notification after I drive with information that is not bad but then later I see a notification that says 0 km/h Get rid of the the redundant notification, will change the rating to 5..... had to uninstall for now. Kept getting unfortunately Trip Tracker stopped working. Leave the 4 star rating for now.

I live the way the notification is displayed, but my issue is the only way I can turn the notification off is by blocking the app and even then the gps activates on small drive and won't even display my speed so it's battery drain for nothing. With a little bit more optimisation this app will be amazing.
