World Sockets and Plug Shapes

A comprehensive list of all the shapes and types of electrical sockets and plug shapes in the world. There are more than 14 types of sockets types around the world and as much plug shapes. It is difficult to keep track of all of the list, especially when going on overseas travels. Now it is common to bring multi socket adapters around but it doesn't hurt to check the socket shape and voltage of your destination. It is especially important to note the voltage used in a certain country as you can end up frying your electrical device. Some countries/country may also have a two voltage system depending on the states such as Brazil.
