Brolly - Rain alarm & radar

Yes find brolly very useful and accurate ....really like the push notification feature. Only thing I found negative is sometimes you have to activate the push notification if there has been a long dry spell when rain is immedent !

I like the idea but found that it just spammed me with useless "rain later today" notifications and no option to turn that off so I ended up ignoring all its notifications.

Great app, just needs some customise options and it would be the best.

Great app specifically for rain warnings and alerts. Very accurate.

The app does what it claims and does it well. My only issues are that the push notifications are a nuisance, and that the app apparently only uses the Melbourne radar. Add the ability to control notifications (frequency, length of rain event etc.) and the ability to select the radar being used (auto or manual is fine) and the push notifications will become useful rather than irritating.

Not completely accurate, says dry for now with showers later....sorry but its raining quite steadily now....hmmmm?

Doesn't always alert me of nearing rain as it used to. Defeats the purpose of having this app on my phone.

If had times for alarm/ alert to be active instead of off or on would be worth 5 stars and i would purchase,should not have to mess around turning off and on 8n these days

Appropriately minimalistic. Does what it promises. Could perhaps benefit from a couple of extra features (e.g. teach it when I don't expect to go out for a while, explain what "silence" vs. "remind me later" does). Still I paid for the yearly subscription - worth it.

Helpful in deciding the best time to nip out to grab stuff and be home before the rain starts. Also let's you know when there might be a break in the rain. Fairly accurate to within a few minutes

It looks great, doesn't do anything except fulfill is expressed purpose, and i love it. Saves me time and keeps me dry. Gives me a really great advantage over life before brolly. Couldn't be happier.

Great little app that has saved ne from getting soaked a few times already. Notifications can get a little annoying at times though. It could really do with a widget.

But its no good to me but radar is for Melbourne and I need yarrawonga radar as I am 200ks north of Melbourne

This is a really good app. I found when it said it was going to rain in a few minutes it was usually right. Great work.

This is a fantastic app to have if you also install a weather forecasdt app,but i found that it doesn't exactly tell you the actual weather temperature. It just says 'sunny' or 'cloudy'. It would be good to know also the temperature of the day.

Not only does it not work. It tells you theres heavy storms when theres no clouds to be seen anywhere and theres no aditional features when you pay for it.

Next request? Would like to see a range of widgets that has a small and large footprint that gives predictions at certain time intervals.

This is one of my favourite apps of all time and I enthusiastically recommend it to my friends. Love the push notifications. They give me unfaltering warning of impending rain and allows me to avoid a soaking especially if I'm out and about walking or biking. We'll done developer!

I love the idea and the look. A potentially good feature (for subscribers) could be if you could set up push notification time periods for vibration. I'd love to receive push notifications with vibration around the time I walk to and from work (because it does grab my attention) but don't really need the vibration while I'm at work or sleeping. Just an idea and maybe I'm just too lazy to switch off vibration before going to bed haha. Keep up the great work!

I'm a developer and had this exact same idea for a while now, and not only have these guys beaten me to the punch, but also executed perfectly with very well thought-out design. Well done, great app.

Great app, but it has trouble detecting drizzle since it doesn't show up on the radar.

Would be nice to receive a notification once the trial has run out still, I thought it had stopped working for a while

Love it - I don't need an umbrella every time it is slightly cloudy in my area. Accurate as anything!

Worked first time but after that, just gets stuck. Uninstall then reinstall gives same problem. Samsung S2.
