Moving and deleting emails in iCloud or Gmail with web interface or email clients is very slow and limiting. Clean Your Mail is able to remove thousands of emails by directly communicating with your mailbox "server-to-server". No need to download everything to your phone or desktop anymore.

SMART GROUPING AND FILTERING
Grouping is the key feature of Clean Your Mail – groups will allow you to sort through all the messages in your mailbox prepared for removal quickly making a decision about keeping emails in the group. You can always preview emails in the group and filter senders or recipients.

Your access to the application is encrypted with 128 bit encryption provided by Comodo.

Mailbox access on your terms

We use a protocol called OAuth2 to access your Gmail mailbox – it relies on you "granting" Clean Your Mail access to your mailbox and you can "revoke" it any time.

iCloud does not support OAuth2 but you can use Apple's "App-specific Passwords" feature for additional layer of security. With App-Specific Passwords you can create a separate password to be used just with Clean Your Mail. It can also be "revoked" at any time.

Credentials are encrypted

Mailbox access details are stored in memory as part of the encrypted session and can only be used while you are logged in from your app. Decryption keys are never stored on the server.

Limited data is downloaded

Full emails are never downloaded - Clean Your Mail only analyzes email headers which contain subject line, sender and recipient information, dates, email size and similar data. We do not have access to mail contents or attachments. Furthermore cached data is wiped the moment you log out or remove your account or after 20 minutes of inactivity.
