Rain Sounds - Sleep & Relax

Thank you so much to this app. The first time I use this, I really sleep so soundly. Another good thing about the app is that you can adjust the sound of thunder/bird, and piano/other musical instruments. This is so relaxing. I definitely recommend this app to anyone who's having a hard time falling asleep.

Have tried 3 other apps. They run on an annoying loop which keep me up. I like to run this all night. Happy I don't have to listen to stupid birds or music and I can turn the thunder down enough that it's not distracting. Lots of choices although some just aren't for me. Great app thanks.

I love this little app. I enjoy the rain and thunder storms. It's helps me to calm down and or sleep. I love pianos as well. But there are other options with each different scenarios​ and the timer is a great idea so I don't have to worry about it conflicting with my alarm clock.

I was missing something to help me sleep at night. My friend told me about this app that helps her sleep and it's perfect! I love the different rain sounds and that I can choose whether to have piano playing or how much thunder to add. It has improved my ability to relax and sleep through the night.

Very nice app, it's wonderful with an external speaker. No permissions required. I love the individual sound level controls to give you lifelike sound. I added Ocean Sounds to play at the same time and the two together regularly bring tears to my eyes (I think it's the piano) while awake but for sleep, I just sleep. If you don't already have an external speaker consider one if possible as it really adds the depth for full moving effect of the soul. Gratitude to the developers.

I use this to help clear my head and sleep, so the timer is extremely useful. The loop is seamless and is pretty much undetectable. Some of the options I feel sound more like a fire crackling than rain so could do with tweaking a little. My son used to find it hard to get to sleep, but with using this app it takes him half the time to drop off now.

I initially tried some rain sounds from Amazon prime music and they were terrible, so I looked for an app and found this one. The sounds are great! I really like rain on roof, and I think the ability to add in thunder is awesome. The timer feature is also great but lately I've been letting it run all night long and I am sleeping better and having no trouble falling asleep. I definitely recommend it.

Great app! I turn on perfect storm, set the lighting setting to 66 (by far one of the coolest settings... lighting frequency from 0 to 100): set the 40 minute timer, and drift off... I've downloaded about 14 different apps of this nature, trying to find the perfect one. Not only have I stopped downloading them, but I have deleted all others except this one. Great job!

This is my first time rating an app but I was so impressed with this that I just had to comment on it. I thought at first that I was just getting a "rain" app, but it has SO many different types of rain that you can pick from! There's one that sounds like water trickling with birds tweeting in the background and harp music playing - perfect for meditation. And a few that combine rain and a crackling fire. Love this app!!!

Police Siren in Rain on Roof. I was listening to the rain on roof setting which is my favourite. The rest seem more like white noise but that sounds most realistic. App is well designed and great controls, functionality and theme suits the context. However I noticed a quiet police siren in rain on roof and now it's kinda difficult not to hear it. Little distracting.

I love your app! I think the settings are all good, but I'd like to have more rain and storm options to choose from. For instance, maybe a few different choices for rain on window (house window, car window or car roof might be really nice!) Also, what would you think about rain on a metal or tin roof? You could also offer a sliding bar to increase rain intensity, like there is for thunder. I've got a lot of ideas if you're interested :). Thank you all so much for the hard work!

It's an excellent app which helped me sleep for a good while now... But now I'm finding that it's fading out after a few seconds of playing and I don't know how to fix it. I love the sound of the storm and how you can tailor storm input or a piano in with the rain. If there's a fix so it's put back to working for ages then I'll gladly give 5 stars

Awesome app gives me exactly what I'm looking for... The many personalities of rain. Options to include lightning, thunder, or music to mix in to your preference. I uninstalled other apps that had too many ads, endless begging for money for upgrades (that are here free), or 2much meditation b.s. Thanks guys!

I love this app! The only thing is, I would really like to be able to set the timer for things in between 4 and 8 hour intervals. I like the rain to shut off before my alarm goes off in the morning, but I don't always go to bed with a full 8 hours till I get up. Better timer options would help.

This app is amazing. It allows to adjust the optional sounds to your liking, along with music that plays along with the rain. It allows you to turn off your screen and continues to play, allowing for maximum battery life. Plus there are 13 different senerios for your listening pleasure. It helps me focus and relax better than before. I have a hard time falling asleep without it.

I like that you're able to adjust things like the frogs or the music and lightning, etc. Alongside that feature, the app is very well organized and well designed as well. I've tried similar apps that didn't have nearly as much attraction and they all glitched, this one does not. Highly appreciative of the investment put forth here.

Great app. I love that there are so many different rains and that you can change the volume of the ambient sounds. I have one problem, though. I often listen to music while also listening to this app and sometimes the rain can be too loud. If the app had adjustable rain volume I would give it 5 stars in a heartbeat, but alas, it is not so. I hope you make this feature in the future!

The app is good when it works. I have had constant issues with the audio stopping shortly after I've started it. Sometimes it happens when I lock my screen, sometimes when the screen is left unlocked. Says there is a Gear version, but I could never find it. The only reliable thing about the app is that you will always see the ads.

I generally sleep with a fan for the noise. I'm the type of person who takes forever to get to sleep but once I do, I'm out. The nights I manage to fall right asleep are usually induced by NYquil or by storms. I love bing able to turn a "storm" on at night and fall asleep quickly this app has made a huge difference in the amount of sleep I get and the quality.

This app often helps me fall asleep. I've tried a lot of different apps and feel like this one has the clearest sound and no pause before looping which is distracting when trying to fall asleep. This app has so many different sounds and ambient noises. It's truly wonderful and I'd recommend it to anyone having trouble falling asleep.

Best rain app! I have trouble relaxing so when I find something that helps me I like to pass it on to people. The separate control for nature sound and music is what put this over the top! Sometimes music is what I need other times it is a good storm or even both just balanced thanks for this app. Please keep up the great work !

This is awesome. First it's free (but I recommend you to support the developer). You can customize the sounds and add a musical instrument to the sound of rain. You also have birds and thunder depending on the theme. The sound volume of each element can be individually changed. The sounds are random, e.g. the birds don't chirp at regular intervals so they sound natural. It's excellent!

Even after deleting and not having always.. i consistently come back to THIS app. It really helps.

After my Note 4 upgraded to Marshmallow, what used to be a mildly irritating loop interruption turned into horrible static. Figured out it was apps updating overnight. As long as I turn off WiFi overnight, works like a charm. Only one that does. Have tried 4 others that are just awful compared to this awesome app.

Could not sleep for love or money last night. Selected: Rain On Tent, Thunder: medium and Timer: 1 hour...dropped like a stone! You have so much control...frog volume, rain volume, harp/piano volume, thunder volume, timer, etc. Can't wait to hit the hay tonight! One suggestion; add lighting effects by accessing camera flash.

Love the ability to adjust having certain sounds over the rain. As a personal preference I don't like thunder so I can turn that off and have a bit of relaxing piano instead. Have been using this pretty much every night for over a year and will continue to do so.

I wish that you could customize the timer duration. It's really irritating get that you have preset timers, and know hours you only get 1 hour, 2 hours, 4 hours or 8 hours. You need to be able to set it to have a customizable length. Or better yet, it turns off at a specific time of day!!

I absolutely LOVE this app. Every night I fall asleep to the sound of rain on a window with the thunder sound turned all the way up. Thunder and background music can be added with variable volume or removed completely to suit your taste. By far the best thing since sliced bread

Lovely sounds, great controls, very intuitive. Love the customizability of different components, and the simple music, and that it works offline with no trouble whatsoever. In short, I love it to bits. And there are small ads, but at least they're not annoyingly disruptive. This app is a real gift to the world. Thank you for this gem. Saved my sanity a couple times.

I've been using this app almost every night for a couple of months now and it's definitely helped with my usual state of insomnia. I tend to only use one 'track' so it'd be a good development to uninstall unused tracks to save space on my phone storage. Would also like a gentle heartbeat track, like during a pregnancy sonogram. Otherwise perfect!

BEST SLEEP SOUND APP I'VE EVER HAD!!! You can customize each one on how loud you want thunder and lightening or (my favorite part) you can turn off the bird or other animal sounds if you don't like them in the background! AMAZING JOB DEVELOPERS! THANK YOU SO MUCH!

Helps me fall asleep a lot faster and help me concentrate on getting sleepy when my brain just wants to continue to overthink. My go-to is the thunder one. Super relaxing. Wish I had found this app sooner. Love how I can adjust volume for the thunder, rain and music individually.

It Sound so realistic and helps me sleep! If You put the Rain on Window one oh and put it on your windowsill at night it actually sounds like its raining! I Love This app

Helps me block out all the background, such as my roommates Tv, and I sleep like baby! Has a timer to cut off from 5-30mins. I'm most impressed in the "real-life" sounds this app has!

Oh my goodness, i dont know how i got here, but im thank full i did. I have adhd this helps me focus. I have tintunus this helps me sleep. I have OCD im thankful i can adjust it. And im glad i found out i can turn my phone off and it will still be playing. Sorry for the long review, this app is just PERFECT!!!<3

I was looking for a rainymood substitution, because the app has flaws and is expensive considering. This app is so much better, it has an incredible selection, and each type of rain not only sounds exactly like its supposed to, each type can also be adjusted by volume of rain and another sound like frogs at the lake, or birds at the beach, or piano and string accompaniments for most of the rain types. Its awesome, definitely recommend.

I use this app to go to sleep every night. My only issue is that there's no 6 hour sleep timer setting. This leaves me waking up in the middle of the night with no noise and I have to reopen my phone to set the extra two hours.

This app is such a blessing to me especially on the nights when i have a lot on my mind and can't seem to wind down... My dog looks 4ward to me turning the sleep sounds on as well and once I do, he goes to his bed and lays down (lol)... My daughter has since began using it as well and loves it also. Thanks for the blessing!

I use Rainymood a lot, I especially like to play it in the background whilst listening to music; it makes it calm, serene and cozy. I decided to try this app to do the same, but it doesn't (unless I missed it) allow you to set this as a different volume to your phone. I prefer the music to be louder and the rain to sound a bit more distant, but it's impossible when it goes off of the phones volume rather than the one set in the app.

I happen to need to use white noise where I live because it can be quite noisy. I found that this app, and the others from the same developer, very helpful. I tend to try different things that can help me to sleep. This app, and the others, helps greatly. A really nice way to bring the ocean, forest, etc. to ur phone.
