PageTurner eBook Reader

Nice project. Works quite well except for two things: no way to change text alignment and I couldn't see how to stop TTS (I use a speed reading thing in place of actual speech so that may have been the issue). Didn't try the sync but I'm puzzled at how it must work as all you give them is your email address. I'm sure this will be an awesome app in the future. Good luck!

I've tried multiple times to sync my reading progress between my devices. It doesn't work. Which means if I read on one device, I have to go look for the page on he other device. I really like this app - it is user friendly and I like the fact that it gives a synopsis of the book when you tap on it in your bookshelf, but the synching problem is a real dissapointment.

But when it reads out loud, it saves the audio to my device, and clearing it out is a lot of work.

I like! Works good from Google Drive. Does not get messed up.

How do you useit

Very good app but unable to find means to scroll forward and back through pages. Assume there must be a method to ii- just can't find where to do it.

First it forced closed on me an now none of the books will open to read.Was hoping for a better ebook reader but sadly this app isn't it!

Most balanced between options and customisation so far. Remembers last page read of every book, night mode. Animation can be bit slow though. Not as fancy and smooth as Google Books. Improvements :- Preset colour schemes would be good and customisable shelf. Also would be better if both text and background colours could be previewed together instead of separate settings to see how the final combination looks. Maybe a divider between main copy and page number or, make number smaller.

Great app, great support. Have been using for years and still my go to choice for reading while keeping progress synced across multiple devices and android versions.

Book display settings buried away. Should be more conveniently placed. Nice that it can open books from all over my device's filesystem.

I would really welcome integrated Google Translate and text hyphenation, but otherwise it looks pretty good.

Please explain to me why its so hard to display the illustrations encoded within an *.epub file. I have a lot of books with pictures in them, but your app doesn't show any of them at all...

It also works very well with Ivona TTS text to speech, so nice to be able to llisten to whole book (on Android 4.2). Much appreciated.

I always liked pageturner. But the last year I'm having problems with it jumping to random sections in the chapter when I open pageturner, or when I go to the next chapter. It's very annoying, I always have to manually find where I was..

I have tried several, This one is my choice

When I opened one of my books I only got question marks instead of words. The program doesn't work at all. Please fix. I bought "Morals and Dogma".

I tried all the E-Reader apps and am keeping this plus 2 others. It is the ONLY app that opened 3 books that crashed the other e-reader apps. It was simple to set up. Let's you scan and import ALL BOOKS (if you want) from the SD card at the start. Very intuitive. Very organized. Nice looking. Love the Text to speech.

At last, an ebook reader with complete Hebrew support. Works like a charm and the text looks great!

The control are terrible..

As of this morning my synchronization is not working. Anyone know what's going on? Is so cool to be able to read for a while on my tablet, then grab my phone and come right to my spot. It has a lot of settings, and you do have to be careful not to disrupt the synchronizing function. But I love the customization.

I seem to be unable to highlight more than a word at a time. Is there a way I could highlight a couple of sentences or a paragraph together? Also, is there a way to disable the screen buttons light off?

I've tried the app and quite like it. But it need to have a list of all the notes that we make for a book. Now it's place along with all the highlights. Please separate them. Also, need the ability to change the size of the font in the side window containing the table of contents and highlights list. In my galaxy note 8, the fonts is too large and thus too little text is shown there because the large font takes to much space. Thanks.

Refused to even see my PDF files on my SD card. Waste of bandwidth.

I have a huge eBook library that I manage via Calibre. Now I can sync as many or as few books with my phone, no hassle. Love it!
