Quick Search is a fast and lightweight App for searching the web easily. It gives you quick shortcuts to various websites and apps, and it includes a Widget for your Home Screen - similar to the Google Search Bar widget.

I used this app for a couple of years and it was great. About a month the app started nagging me to update it. I finally broke down and did the update, now it seems as though I'm getting full screen ads every day. Good grief!!!

I have been searching for this app for way too long. If I had had this app to begin with, I'd have saved so much time. Fast and small, but robustly functional and customizable for the ideal interface. Great job!

Great but it needs the ability to search for phone for apps, notes, emails or texts. Also it'd be great if it were a standalone search engine or something close to one so you'd be able to select more than one search engine from which to display results.

This app serves it's BASIC purpose, as far as providing an array of search engines to choose from, but It was misrepresented! First, I expected to have a bar about an inch down from the top of my screen, similar to the default widget! Also, the search box is only preaent after clicking on the icon, thus this app is not as usable as was represented! Doing a voice search is now a 2 step process insets of one! Next, having advertisement above the search box obscures the status bar & other widgets I'd rather see at the very top of my screen, like the time & weather! it's not so much the advertisement, but the placement of the entire thing, box & ad is all the way at the top of the home screen! Very poor aesthetics! Last, the choice of search engine Google U.S. opens in Google U.K. instead! This is most inconvenient! This is too many things overlooked on an app that's been released!
