Safety blanket utilises an intuitive icon driven interface which steers users towards selecting the appropriate hazard types for the risk area being assessed. Once the hazard types have been assessed safety blanket guides the user through the process of identifying and introducing controls in order to mitigate the effects of the identified hazards. The ability to classify the risk before and after controls have been applied allow the user to assess the effectiveness of those controls.

Our forum allows users to share this information within their organisation or with all users of safety blanket. This means that independent advice can be sought on particular hazards or discussed with synergistic businesses to further enhance the quality and effectiveness of your risk assessment process.

Safety Blanket is unique in the way it manages this private/public sharing of data and we feel this useful ability to share information will enable better risk assessment control to be achieved making your companies business safer and the world a safer place for everyone.

A philosophy we can all agree on. Safety Blanket has been released free of charge for small businesses with a tiered payment schedule to be introduced as your requirements grow. Some limitations have been placed on the basic (free) version with upgrade paths designed to take payment in a fair way. We also have a number of features being developed to tempt you into upgrading.

Our goal is to provide an easy to use tool that anybody can use from a small shop owner, plumber or self employed decorator to a medium to large business. We have put all our efforts into the free version to get the tool out there NOW. There are currently no features you can pay for or even a mechanism to allow for payments to be made. If you find yourself up against a limit (number of users or RAs) let us know, we can always move the limits.
