http://MoonTrajectory.net allows you to display the future trajectories of the moon in augmented reality:

* Look through your phone and see the path of the moon.

* Find out if the moon will be full or what phase it will be in.

* Plan the moonrise and moonset times, not only on the horizon, but also on a building or a relief.

* Travel in time and see what path the moon will follow in the months to come.

* Take and save photos.

* Check afterwards the different trajectories of the moon for a whole year.

Photography:

* Plan to include the moon in your pictures, whether by day or night.

* Plan when a subject (like a statue for instance) will be aligned with the moon.

* Use the calendar of the moon phases.

* Use the agenda to plan your future pictures.

* This way, you will know when to return to the site to take your picture to the maximum effect.

* Use Google Maps to pinpoint its exact location.

Flickering fast in green color, the 3 quadrant of screen... Only one quarter top left is not flickering. Also flickered on my earlier mobile LG G Flex after some version update... Many users getting this issue... You need to check.. I am ready to pay if you provide flawless experience..

I'm looking directly at the moon after doing more than 10secs worth of gyro work to gain accuracy. It still can't locate the moon or its trajectory. I just keep turning in circles while it's trying to tell me to keep turning to be able to see it. What is the problem here?

Flickering on lenovo k3. Old version was better.

Accurate. Good help for Indian women in locating moon on Karva Chauth!

Works very well, good job. But the earth is still flat.

When most of the apps(including Google Sky Map and Other apps) were showing Moon below the horizon this app showed the exact location. I was watching moon in front of me and verifying this app and this is the most accurate app I could find.

H70%
by H####:

The augmented reality of the moon was off by at least 45 degrees. Another app I tried simultaneously which was showing the sun path was completely accurate so I don't think it is a problem of my phone. I'll give this app a try again though.

App will get to point that it displays moon track, but then pops up notice saying no back camera found and then exits. No "no camera" mode and my tablet has both front and back cameras. Update: Still not fixed, a "no camera" would be a nice workaround. Could even have a send error log option/feature.

So I'm pointing my phone at the moon, and the app thinks it should be a good 20 degrees to my right. Tried other night sky apps and they get the position of objects fairly close, but this app is hopelessly bad! You can turn the sensors off, but then what's the point of the app!?

Like Heather said, trajectory is off. Downloaded it tonight in hopes of finding the eclipse amongst the clouds. Glad I was looking in more than one spot!

No more guessing where the sun or moon will rise or set ot be to line up that perfect shot. This allows u to see the shot in advance so u can be there at the right time and location. Great. Love it.

This app would be incredibly useful for exploring archeoastronomy sites if dates could go back further than 1900. How about removing that limitation or at least allowing the ability to go back as far as the year zero?

Using your phone's gyroscopic and location sensors the app points you to where the moon is now and gives you the path it will travel on. Great for finding where to see an eclipse of the moon on a cloudy evening.
