Rotation Control (License)

A marvelous tool that empowers you to have full control over apps that don't work and play well with your desire to display the way you want them too!. For instance I prefer to view everything in landscape. With this lil tool all I have to do is "set it (once and forget it. I never have to go back and set it again. I don't have to have the app on any screen ready to fight the next troublesome app.I can keep this in my app drawer out of my way. Worth every penny!

When I first got this app I give it 5 stars because it's a great app. But the problem started when I paid for it. It continues to go to unlicensed. I found that you can use Google Play to fix this. I would be angry like many other people about this if it was not for this. But I have a license and should not have to constantly do this all the time. For now I am giving you 2 stars. Please fix this.

Before I found this app, OK Google search from off and locked screen on my Nexus 6P would fail if the phone were in landscape position. Auto rotate would kick in and break the Google Search feature. This app allowed me to lock my lock screen in portrait mode thereby allowing Google search to work! Thank you thank you thank you thank you thank you thank you thank you thank you thank you

This app would be awesome if it could work a bit faster. I love being able to keep my phone in landscape view. Problem is, it usually takes way too long to get there.. feels like it makes the phone glitch, not sure it's worth the frustration.

I've been using my Galaxy Nexus (VZN, curse you!) in the car with a phone mount, and it's been tricky to get the headphone and micro USB plugged into the phone. No longer a problem thanks to this handy little app! I just put my phone in the mount in upside down portrait mode, and Ultimate Rotation Control makes it all work. Thanks for making this and making it so easy!

I've been using this app for quite some time (>year), and it worked. Stopped using it on my old nexus 7 when Google enabled home screen rotation, but started to again on the nexus 5 due to its lack of any controls on the notifications slide down. If I want to change rotations, the quick select UI in the tray won't respond or take affect to lock current most of the time until the device is rotated again, resulting in locking in an unwanted mode. Global rotation so far doesn't work at all, only per-app.

What did you do to my phone? I was only using your app to be able to lock my screen inti landscape. When I uninstalled your app my phone is locked into portrait and won't rotate on its own. If you don't fix this I am going to file a formal complaint with Google.

I have the famous issue with my rotation crapping out on the new s6 edge and until they come up with a patch for the problem I was stuck with no landscape mode. This is unacceptable for me with texts and email. This app has SAVED my phone from being smashed into angry pieces!! Well worth the money to be able to rotate my text/email screen again THANK YOU!!!

I just got a Samsung Multimedia Dock. Unfortunately; the orientation of a few apps didn't automatically adjust to landscape mode. I read good things about this app in a review, and indeed it works just as described. Very pleased!

I really like the app except the inconsistenty of the dial screen in landscape mode. For some reason, sometimes it wont display the number pad off to the side. It hides it behind the phone symbol and i cant get to it. Any ideas on a fix for this?

This app is use full but can be a bit slow sometimes, and for some strange reason a box saying that the Google play store has closed comes up even when I am not using it. This box did not appear before I downloaded this app. Try the trial version and if you really can't live without landscape home screen then consider this.

I was very happy with the trial, so I bought the license, but since I bought this, the rotate started to fail. Everything is OK and without any reason the main screen doesn't rotate. You have to keep open the license to restart the rotation, or uninstall and install, I tried for 2 weeks the license and it has been very disappointed. Nexus 5. I want my money back, it's Incredibly don't buy it. It's better only with the trial, even reinstalling every 7 days

I use my Galaxy Nexus as my primary music player in my car (using Google Music). I leave it flat on the center console of my car, which works great, except for when I turn a tight corner and it flips into landscape mode automatically. Frustrating! This app has fixed this problem. The interface is very well done. The (optional) persistent notification icon is actually very handy, because you change the controls directly from it. There's also a handy and customizable widget. Very well done, guys!

After I rooted my phone and froze the Update Services, it lost the ability to rotate properly. This app is worth every penny and has been an amazing life saver. If your phone has a problem with rotating properly, you have found the best solution to the problem. To uninstall this would render my phone unusable.

Needed to set my Note 3 in landscape mode, so when I use the MHL HDMI out it would fill up the LCD screen I was using, instead of the normal vertical image with black bars on the side.

I would give it 5 stars. But sometimes when rotating the homes screen icons lag and appear after 2 seconds. Overall love it now all I need is a app to remove the soft keys on the screen and never make my galaxy nexus perfect.

Whenever i switched on my tablet it shows landscape for 1 second and goes automatically to Potrait mode. In potrait mode i have to lock it. Then after unlocking it it stays in potrait mode the goes into Landscape mode...i have kept my all setting in Landscape mode, it is so irritating....

I recently bought a Nexus Galaxy phone and unfortunately both the power and 3.5mm jack are on the bottom of this phone, what a poor design, especially for me b/c I set my phone in a holder all day here at my desk, with both things plugged in. I initially was using the phone upside down, so when someone called i would just read the phone upside down and then take the call. I then tried a few searches for a forced rotation and BAM, found this app. I tried it out for the 7 days, thanks so much for this option and now am running the full version. Every Nexus Galaxy owner should def. own this great app. Thanks again very much.

Thanks for one of the most useful apps on the market. A must have, slick little gem! So many phones stick the antenna in the base - I was sick of holding mine upside down to pick up weak signals... Result!

The app works well, except for a tiny bug that makes it mostly useless for me. I use the app to rotate my home screen, and initially it worked perfectly. Now, however, the quick launch bar icons all end up on top of each other when I rotate to landscape mode. I can only click on the top one, the rest of the icons are hidden behind that. I'm not sure what caused the change, there were no updates since I downloaded the program. I'm hoping a future update will fix this. (I'm on Android 6.0 and HTC sense 7.0)

I've been using this on my Samsung Galaxy phones for a couple of years now coupled with the Nova launcher for the optimal experience. For those games and phone calls that you don't want in landscape mode ever, use the Per App settings. Sometimes you may not be able to know the right app to put in Per App mode, then make sure Rotation is on your notification bar, enable Per App, open the app, pull down the notification bar and change the Rotation mode to what you prefer and it should stick to the open app.

I had my rotate turned off by accident on my VZN S4. This did landscape on Apex launcher anyway. Touch Wiz? Yep this will do landscape even though its blocked by Samsung. This is a powerful app. Developer has this working all over your phone so give it 5 stars. I want landscape EVERYWHERE and this gives that to me! App rocks. Thank you.

So the N7's home screen doesn't rotate. It's definitely not as bad as people have made it out to be but it can be a little annoying at times. That's where Ultimate Rotation comes in handy & it executes wonderfully. After playing with it for a while, I decided to use my $25 gift card to buy the license. Seems like a smart purchase at this point in time. Keep up the good work dev!

Anyone with the new Google nexus tablet will appreciate this app. I sometimes use the tab in portrait mode but mostly i have it sat in a landscape case with a keyboard on my desk, so it's vital that I'm able to rotate the home screen. This app has achieved that perfectly - I just leave it in "forced auto"all the time and have bought the license key. UPDATE: I don't understand - since buying the license it keeps failing, turning upside down for no reason mid flow :-(

The app is great. I love the app specific settings. I needed this after installing a custom rom on my tablet and the auto rotate feature didn't work. This app solved all my problems. The author is polite and communicates well. I had a problem with the license not installing correctly and was still saying it was in the trial period. After providing proof of purchase he sent my a license key by email that worked perfectly. 5 stars for the app and 5 stars for the customer service.

Works brilliantly on my Google nexus 7 and makes it into the tablet it should be. Rotates everything I tried so far including the main menu. Its actually the first app I ever paid for and worth every penny. Agree with other reviewer - this fixed one minor irritation. Charger slot just remains to be usb`d

... the per app setting only kicks in after it rotates to landscape. I was hoping not to have to manually set to forced auto before launching RR3. Is it possible to have an icon that sets the forced auto and THEN starts a particular app?

Controls screen rotation beautifully. Broke my phone and could only use the bottom half, this app made my phone able to be fully used again by being able to rotate ANY app to ANY rotation. Some apps only allow vertical orientation (they freeze at horizontal) but this at least allowed me to flip upside down to use the other half of my screen. A real life saver.

Started the 7 day trial then tested all the apps I was having issues with (Next Issue, Elemental Kingdoms, my corporate email client etc) and it worked on all of them. Well worth the few bucks just for the ergonomic comfort alone.

The app is no longer laggy. One minor issue is that the word of app on notification bar is not rotated. For example, when i'm in reverse portrait mode, the P is in opposite direction to all other words. Not a big problem, so this app still get 5 stars from me

What's better than having your app automatically holds it in position. I never tried the 7-days trial and it never disappoints me. But it makes my home screen rotates which makes it weird but nothing goes wrong with my phone but overlapping app list and same with the menu (Because my phone doesn't have a rotation support on them so a working one is good). Changing the settings stops this problem, under 'System rotation>Forced auto' to 'auto'. So overall, no problem. Great app

Just found it was draining the life out of my battery. Only uninstalled the app and battery life back to normal. Love it , but reluctant to use it

Only fail in some app eg, world of tank. Hope will see update soon

I would have given this a really good rating but for some reason it said my licence had expired and stopped working when I've got one through getjar. I've just bought a licence and now it won't even install saying there is an error (923). I really liked this so please help.

I love this app. My phone stopped being able to rotate the screen for some reason and I tried numerous things to fix it. This app was the only solution. It allows me to use my phone horizontally. I just wish that this app could find a way to make everything on the screen fit as if my phone were a tablet. My app menue get cut off, but nevertheless I'm happy, worth the price.

You would think this is such a simple thing... to be at your home screen, turn your phone, and have the screen rotate. But it doesn't. That's how Android OS is configured. UNLESS YOU HAVE THIS AMAZING APP! Thank you for creating this. I didn't wait seven days for the trial to expire... I waited about seven seconds and happily paid for the unlock! Well done! Totally worth it!

I've traced an excessive battery drain on my phone to this app...more accurately this apps license, which is really a shame cuz I love it otherwise. I get an extra 30-50% battery life when I uninstall. I may have to uninstall perminently if it isn't fixed. I would not reccomend buying the license because of this. Edit:Dev seems to be working to fix. Good communication gets a couple stars back. Note:forced auto breaks the HTC camera app. Enable per app settings and select auto for the camera app.

The app does what i paid it to do but it lacks one major feature. It need rotation speed settings. The default rotation speed is too slow. It also doesnt resize the home screen properly when it goes in landscape. The app needs work. The dev lastly updated the app 3 months ago... Its time to work a little for the money users keep giving you. As a dev myself, i know how frustrating it could be when a dev does a hit an run with our money and abandons their app.

I loved this app and purchased the license. However now it keeps telling me that it's unlicensed thus not working properly. Happens after a reboot. I agree that app is great but in this way, it is useless to me.

It's a huge annoyance to use an app in landscape mode, then the phone times out, then you power on the phone to find your lock screen in portrait mode, unlock it and find your app switched to portrait even though your phone is still horizontal! Arggg! This app makes me so freakin' happy because it allows me to force auto-rotate, which allows landscape on my stock home screen (TouchWiz) and lockscreen on my Galaxy Note II ! * Tip: Rotate settings are in the status bar drop-down!
