Ik Waak

Ik Waak is het digitale burgerwacht platform waarmee buurtbewoners verslag kunnen doen van het laatste nieuws uit de buurt. Gebruikers kunnen via het platform anderen waarschuwen voor verdachte of gevaarlijke situaties. Samen maken we de buurt veilig en vertrouwd.


Het platform koppelt buurtbewoners automatisch aan elkaar op basis van hun thuislocatie. Het is hierdoor mogelijk om op eenvoudige wijze je buurtbewoners te waarschuwen of te informeren. Handmatig burgerwacht groepen organiseren en onderhouden is met deze applicatie verleden tijd!

De voorpagina van de applicatie geeft alle meldingen uit de buurt weer. Door het instellen van je thuislocatie en thuislocatie radius kun je aangeven uit welke buurt je meldingen wenst te ontvangen. Wanneer er nog geen meldingen bij je in de buurt zijn dan wordt de lijst aangevuld met uitgelichte meldingen uit alle regio's van het land.

De applicatie ondersteunt push en pull notificaties waardoor meldingen direct worden verspreid onder de gebruikers, wel zo handig wanneer elke seconde telt. Je kunt plaatsen toevoegen aan je favorieten om relevante meldingen te ontvangen. Daarnaast kun je een thuislocatie en een thuislocatie radius instellen om op de hoogte te blijven van het nieuws uit de buurt.

Met de foto knop kun je gemakkelijk en snel een foto maken die bijgevoegd kan worden bij een nieuwe melding. Daarnaast kun je een locatie bijvoegen die automatisch wordt opgezocht. Het waarschuwen van buurtbewoners is met een klein aantal stappen snel gedaan. Heb je geen foto? Gebruik dan de menu optie 'melding zonder foto'.

Ga de dialoog aan met buurtbewoners door op meldingen te reageren of door reacties te beantwoorden waarbij het tevens mogelijk is om een afbeelding bij te voegen.
