About iSignNGT sign dictionary
iSignNGT is a basic dictionary of Sign Language of the Netherlands (NGT), the language of Deaf people in the Netherlands. The user can look up signs for more than 600 concepts for free. Apart from a sign movie, one may find a signdrawing, pictogram or picture. The list of signs can be organised alphabetically or thematically. The application is suited for everyone who is learning basic NGT and everyone who is using sign supported Dutch (NmG). The user can swipe back and forth between signmovies and other parts which facilitates practising the signs.
All signs are standard signs, derived from the national database of NGT signs of the Dutch Sign Centre (Nederlands Gebarencentrum) in the Netherlands.
Theme's can be added to the basis sign dictionary via in-app purchases. They are listed in the theme list.

Na het kopen van pakketten, worden die na een reinstal niet altijd goed geinstalleerd, zonder dat er een melding met reden van komt. Dat is wel erg vervelend. De app werkt verder prima. Dat alles gecached wordt is niet zo handig, zeker niet omdat de app niet verplaatst kan worden naar de SD kaart, maar wel al snel 500mb groot is en dan heb ik nog maar 1 van de extra pakketten geinstalleerd. Wat veel erger is, is de communicatie naar aanleiding van de problemen met GEKOCHTE pakketten: "De App is de app en werkt goed", oftewel gebruikers moeten niet zo zeuren want het ligt aan hen. Daarnaast wordt mijn probleem als incident afgedaan. Ik weet dat meerdere cursisten met hetzelfde probleem lopen en ook al contact hebben gezocht. Toch wordt dat verzwegen en wordt het probleem naar mij toe als "enkel incident" afgedaan.

De app is heel groot en zou een stuk fijner worden als hij op de sd-kaart kan worden geïnstalleerd. Edit: ik bedoel op een externe sd-kaart zodat het telefoongeheugen niet zo snel vol raakt. Veel apps hebben tegenwoordig die mogelijkheid
