ESCAM Eye

According to escam employees this app only works with the QF100 cam and no others. They should mention that somewhere.

This app is proof all cameras insecurely connect to a server in China... no security on the rtsp ports or onvif. Also: could do with option to update firmware.

Very hard to setup remote access. Displays invalid id on the same setup that otherwise work when in a same LAN. Camera is great, but software and support ih very bad.

Same as most of the other people are saying... Scanned the Id ... Failed to connect. Uninstalled. Camera hardware is fantastic though both day and night conditions. Used ispy connect for PC. Fantastic piece of software.

Bottom line ESCAM produces an inferior product. The camera QD300 has poor firmware, but good hardware. The ESCAM EYE software doesn't work. I am an IT guy, and if I can't get it to work, who do they expect can. However, the camera will work with other free IP camera viewing software like ispy and many others.

Its a bit hard to make it work on the phone and wireless . It needs improvements on how to pan righ/left/up/down, the swiping turns the cam too slow

Generally woeful app. Slow. Prone to crashes. The ability to pause / fast forwarded recorded video is missing. This app reflects poorly on otherwise reasonable Escam products.

The application does not. It is unable to find the camera. The camera also sucks as I am unable to view the feed without having to install a whole lot of crap. Typical IP cameras let you view the feed from the camera once you enter the local IP address of the camera, not this one. Also connectivity is intermittent over LAN. Horrible product.

Needs improvement

Scan the id on the camera's label and the software says it's an invalid id. Won't connect. Search for cam and it finds one of my other non escam cameras. Disappointed.
