When you attempt to connect the camera out of the box, the app may not connect with The camera. To solve this issue: 1. Get a pin 2. Push the pin in the back of the device for no longer than 7 seconds or the device will reset. Repeat until the light at the front blinks alternative on and off (1-2 second intervals). 3. With your phone, go to WiFi and search for the camera and connect to it directly. 4. In the app, instead of smart WiFi step, click search. The rest of the setup is self explanatory.
They are okay if you can just set and watch. They constantly disconnect and say "lost connection" or they just shut off. Until you get a card your videos have no sound. I wish I had put the money into a better quality camera. Several messages from support but they keep repeating the same instructions. .I get user name password error..or connection fail. I have rest them with the reset button. I have set up with ap..nothing works.
Followed Instructions several times and cannot connect. Not via Smart Wi-Fi (connection fails after 63%) or even AP mode (does not switch over or show AP menu) . Sould not be this hard! A bit of help please or it's going on eBay. Looks good, but that aint any good if it don't work!
Setup via AP connection mode on page 16. Works like how I expected. Perfect picture quality for both day and night mode. I would recommend it to anyone who wants a small WiFi cam. I don't see why you can't setup it up.
Doesn't work, if you follow the instruction on the leaflet. You need to follow the instruction from the website. Then it works ok.
I was able to connect just fine to the wifi but after a couple of days it started disconnecting from the wifi constantly. The beeping noise it does when it reconnects is annoying. Also there were no instructions on how to set up the mail settings, ftp etc. for the app inside the box. I had to search the Internet to find this information. When I tried linking my Gmail account to the app; gmail sent me an email saying this app ' s security is vulnerable or out of date and could compromise my email account. So now I don't feel 100% safe using this camera in my home anymore. Will there be an update soon to maximize security on this app and to keep the camera connected properly? Do not try contacting customer support. If you call it goes straight to voice mail like a cell phone even though it is a 1800 number. Tried emailing got two responses both questions but never a solution and have not heard back from anyone in over a week. So needless to say the camera is going back and the app is horrible. Save your money and buy a camera that is worth it. You may have to spend quite a bit of money on a better brand but at least you know they are ensuring your satisfaction.
Bought new cam today and could not connect then. Indicate with either wit CamID, Router password...

I purchased the QRT-501 and the only way it works is plugged directly into network, wifi does not work tried everything. very disappointed with this camera
I had bad experience with camera. When I bought it from it hypermarket IOI MALL. Can't connect. No proper soft ware inside camera. NOT RECOMENDED

Ac-dc DOA, have to use my own one, and waste my time return it to vendor. Can't get it online following instructions again and again. Sorry have to leave this comment but I'm quite disappointed both in soft and hard ware. Will change it if I managed to find a way to make it work.
Follow instruction using smart WiFi and ap mode but unable to get my cam connect to network. After configure for 62 percent it just stop with error message. Please help.
it's a good product.but i found that when i record video on my Android phone, i can't see videos on my phone. andthe second thing is ican't format the sdcard please tell me what. should i do. thanks.
It won't bloody work! Followed instructions for smart wifi and it doesnt connect. Feeling ripped off! I have already been in contact with the support people who have not been able to help me resolve the issue. Looks like the camera is a dud. Not impressed
There is no way to download the video files. The only way get your recorded videos is to yank out the Micro SD and plug it in your PC. Please also consider these features on future versions of the software. 1. Ability to set recording to certain hours of the day. 2. Ability to do motion triggered recording. 3. Ability to download recorded files over Wifi
Spent almost my whole day trying to connect to wifi through the KViewCam app. Followed all instructions again and again but doesnt really connect. Configuration process til 62% then stops asking to check camera id, router password, reset. Done all of these but still didn't work. Pls helpppp!!

Good app, but after view the remote video, can not access again for recorded video until restart the cam.

The app no have motion detect notification? (Try everything and upgrade same version firmware sent by technician) waste my time....to get nothing
Easy to use, but when I took a few snapshot I couldn't find the pictures. Otherwise I would have given 5 stars.
