About Predator-Wifi PUSH

Predator-Wifi is a network intercom, allowing you to receive video and audio calls anywhere your phone has network reception or wifi access.
These are some of the features of the Predator-Wifi
1 You can view any activity outside your gates at any time
2 Take pictures and videos of the area outside your gate or visitors.
3 When a visitor presses the call button it will make a video call to your smart phone.
4 You can then allow them access to your home by pressing the unlock button on the
phone screen
5 Push notifications are sent to the phone when the app is closed, meaning you never miss a call.

App won't display push notification bar to activate app on incoming calls. Using LG V20 on And. 7.0. This app is a good start but missing many easily added features. Time zone abilities, modifying relay strike time, disable incoming call on time zones. Authorized Automated Gate Installer with 15 years experience. Please work on this, it would severely help your product.

The push method on this app much improves the battery life issues in the previous incarnation of this app. Well done for taking this onboard!

Improved battery drain .. BUT - does not work with Android lock screen enabled. Immediately drops the call.

We were successfully using the AES Predator-Wifi PRO app to control our gates, which often resulted in high battery drain as it must be running all the time. This PUSH app does also work in this way. However the PUSH app, in theory, doesn't need to be running to work. It's supposed to use Google's push service to notify users that the gate call button has been pressed. This has not been our experience. We have tried the PUSH app on a Samsung Galaxy S10.5 (Android 5.0.2) and two Samsung Galaxy S5 (Android 6.0.1). They never receive notifications from the gate when the call button is pressed. App notification was on for the PUSH app and power save was disabled. It also made no difference if connected using the local wifi network or 4G. Notifications for all other apps are received successfully. No response from AES Technical when I reported this issue. Having to move back to the older, battery draining PRO app.
