APCam

Have used it for 6 months on Android 5 on Sony Xperia2, crashed a lot but eventually worked, so got used to that. Have just upgraded to Android 6.0.1 and app crashes everytime on open so is unusable. Help please!

it is just not record and cannot playback. This happen quite often for me, especially this time in the emergency case. There is theif, but cannot playback. helpless

New update doesn't allow to view the recordings on the SD card. App crashes all the time.

This is good but one thing irritates me so much that is when the app is suddenly not responding but overall this is great.

It times out after a couple of hours, so annoying. I need it to stay on.

Always says offline even though I can check it with other apps waste of time this one

On my Samsung S4 when I go to watch a live view from the camera the app often throws up an "Unfortunately APCam has stopped" error box and the entire phone locks. The only way to recover the phone is to hold down the power button until it switches off and then reboot the phone.

Worked for a few hours then crashes. Now says I'm online but won't let me view my Cam just keeps kicking off :

After posting app not working on SP camera's, recent updates seem to have solved problems, thank you. Viewing AP & SP cams in one app again. I have changed review back to positive.

Keep saying with updates the bugs are fixed, but nothing ever changes. It never pulls up the camera. Worst app ever.

Occasionally force closes but just restart it and its fine.

Seriously very annoyed!!!! It keeps saying password error when I know it. I even created a new password for my email google account just so I could start fresh. But again it said password error when I clearly know it! It wouldn't even let me register which should sign me in automatically first, but it didn't. I can not use my camera or even log in AT ALL!!! Incredibly frustrating and feel outraged. I have been disappointed in this so many times it's unbelievable. Step up your game and please fix this.

It keeps getting better, but shouldn't it have worked perfectly from the beginning? Crashing is its biggest problem, but most of the functionality is broken. The pan/tilt is backwards for me, and there's no way to correct it. Presets are broken. There is no way to view recordings easily. There's more problems, but I can't remember them right now. Tiny cam works a little, but there's no other option than APCAM for these cams if you want any use of your camera.

But is there a way to stop having to login every few hours I open app an it makes me login again.very frustrating

Image Reverse doesn't get turned off. I had to turn camera upside down. I tried taking app off my phone and back again. Image Reverse is still turned on. Also, night vision turned on early in the afternoon. Can't access using other ipcam app! Need fix.

I have tried several times to login i know my password and it keeps giving me a password error and don't try forgot password!!!!!

Since the latest update the option to block alarm id notifications has disappeared from the sp videos page... Other than that it's good... please how do you unblock alarm

Software compatible with my IP Cam.. TY

The Software was working perfectly fine until recently replaced my router . After the router replacement now I can only intermittently connect to my cameras from inside my house but no issues exist connecting remotely . I know this is primarily a router configuration issue but its odd that it only affects my Android devices as my ipad has never experienced any issue. After making copious router configuration changes it only then occurred to me to see if this only an android issue.

... working OK, quick set-up, the only issue is it went offline after approx 45 mins of continuous access via 4G. It appears to be OK if you access your camera every now and then. I suspect this may be due to the dynamic IP. Other than that, all good!

When you first got it to be connected to LAN cable, don't setup the WiFi first. Go to settings and update the firmware. After updating the firmware, set up the WiFi credentials. If you get into problems like network timeout/error: remove the camera from apcam, use the reset pin until there's a beep from the camera and repeat from start from connections thru LAN. (If you updated firmware, you don't need to reupdate) and then WiFi. I noticed I have to reset, re-add the cam every time the router is reset

Working okay. But you guys should release a manual for this app. I have no idea what the "padlock" icon; defense area is for. The motion detect screenshot should also have an option to continuously take photos for a certain duration of time (eg: 5-10secs). It's next to useless when a door opens, it takes a screenshot of it then stops. I get sent an email with a photo of a door opening, nothing more.

I tried several times to set up a Sricam SP009 for a friend and every time it just says "connect failed". I'm sure I entered the right WiFi password.

No option for guests to view camera, can't even connect through another wifi connection. It states you can see anytime anywhere and it's all bull! Crap utter crap

I hanged the camera in the ceiling and there's no option to flip the view.

Keeps timing out.

Presets save but don't load. Can't find instructions how to access cam with other software e.g. configuration for generic ip cam software. Anyone any suggestions?
