I like the app when i have service but i go out of service all the time to hunt in the hills and mountain's... soo if some how u could still get service with the app and still see if your in the boundrys. Other wise the app is amazing i recommend you to get it awsome awsome fix the out of services part i give u a 5 star :)

I've been messing around with the app at home to familiarize myself with it's features before getting out in the woods. (UPDATE) Thanks for the reply. Yes, map storage on SD card would be great. I have been using the tracker and have found it to be really accurate. Even though there is some lag in map loading, once the map loaded, the track was very accurate to the trail I was on.

Update: they just released the export feature on the web (I don't see it on the app yet). I feel much more comfortable trusting them with my data knowing that I can back it up separately. I would still like to see better performance when offline. I have a new/powerful/expensive phone, and yet the app can take forever when redrawing after zooming in/out. Clearly a bug when offline as online performance is much better (2-4 seconds online, vs 20-40 seconds offline).

Great app. Only thing I dislike is the newer Topo layers. A previous version utilized USGS Quadrangle topos which had much more detail and tighter contour intervals. I use the topo function more than anything. Until this is changed, I will not be renewing at the end of my term.

Love the add ons, do not like that you can not sync to google maps. Great app, could be a little more user friendly. Needs to be easier way of tagging way points instead of scrolling, maybe a search engine attached to access the menu items. Otherwise Its a great tool to keep track of stomping in the woods and not get lost!I love the tracker part of this app. allows me to follow a terrain feature not on the map. Noticed Sat maps are inconclusive when there is heavy trees. It wont pick up the small streams and nat springs.
