This is working GREAT for me. There were quite a few particular sites I visited on my phone that crashed while loading because they were bandwidth hogs. I made sure to set my google search bar to open the adblock browser and I no longer get those invasive streaming video ads, or the all encompassing "close me first" ads either when I go to those sites. The only ads I do see are the ones that don't interfere with my browsing, which I'm absolutely fine with. No more slow internet! No more excessive data consumption on my phone when I'm not using wifi! Adblock wouldn't be needed if the idiots didn't get carried away in the first place. But since they have, this is a great app to use!

This is one of the best apps but also amazing for computer. There is nothing out there like this or as good. They have never failed me and i would highly recommend this for everyone to use its safe easy to install no hassle honestly i give them 10 starts. I never write reviews but this i actually am taking the time to. They are worth it. Hint if you use sites such as primewire to stream t.v add this to computer and surfer with easy. Adblock plus you are amazing and i thank you.

So far so good... it's working much better on my tablet than Chrome does. Chrome is a BIG program which doesn't seem to do much. It claims to sync my desktop stuff with the APP version, but it doesn't even though sync is on and transfer bookmarks and tabs is set. This browser seems like it's too good to be true. I'll test it a bit more before.. Sadly the CM Cheetah browser doesn't work on my tablet like it does on my phone. The best part I liked is the CM browser only has a 5M foot print, unlike this one with a 42M foot print which is half of Chrome which is a 80M foot print.

Great minus a couple feature requests. 1 - open image in new tab, 2 - ability to choose a save location both for just downloading and a 'save to location's option. 3 - that search suggestions would only show from preferred search provider. Will change to 5 star if implemented. This browser does block ads well however. Thank you for a great browser.

This is my go to browser over chrome. No more annoying ads! There is room for improvement however. My suggestions are make search suggestions more fluid by only showing the default search engine suggestions (and make an option to where someone can pick between just using the default search or all searches). Have an option to turn off the underlining of web pages. Also the browser is not as fluid as chrome, try to make page scrolling smoother. Overall the browser is great.

Well I assume this is a heavily customized version of chrome browser. It's only good steps forward. I thought It just did no ads but every aspect of the browser is not only compatible with chrome but also better hands down. There are quirks but far less than chrome and with so many goodies.

I have to admit I like the adblock systems and use them on almost all my machines especially my phone and tablet, they have usually been awesome. However for some reason after an update to my tablet this version no longer works on my Asus tx201la, just opens and then immediately shuts itself after displaying a white screen.

It does block ads but that's about it. Slow to load pages from every search engine and when it does eventually load, swopping pages takes ages whether going forward or backward. I got this on because IE and firefox who purport to be the best also have issues. Like I said, good but once again something doesn't add up to what could be a good application

Replaced chrome as my default browser within an hour. Easy to use, elegant, fast. What more could you want? Obviously the only problem are sites that don't allow you on them with an ad blocker installed. But just a quick temporary disable of ad blocking in the drop down menu and you're winning. Nice work.

I installed this after I came across a site that would constantly open new tabs advertising things. As it was a webcomic it became almost impossible to read. I love the fact that this can be set to allow unobtrusive ads, so that content creators aren't out of pocket if they don't use bad ads.

I have only used this for a couple if days. I downloaded it because I had an unpleasant surprise of high data usage on a site that kept loading video ads. It's worked great so far. My data usage has been negligible. I can't say that it will replace Chrome for my usual browsing, but it's good at what it does.

I gave 5 stars because well its worth it. I do have one problem with the keyboard not coming up other than that keep it coming lg k10 android 6.0.1. Sorry had to edit still going to uses this browser but would like to see that fixed or tell me how to fix. Browser is still worth 5 plus stars.

Lovely app. I tried lots of browsers. Some of them had too much eye candy or unwanted features. Others were very simple and lacking basic things. This one sits perfectly between both worlds. Thanks developers, good work (please don't fck it up in next releases).

E70%
by E####:

The description is pretty clear that they save you bandwidth by blocking the ads before they load but this isn't true. It looks pretty seamless if you have a fast internet connection but if the page loads slow, you can spot ads on the page that dissappear after it finishes loading.

N70%
by N####:

So far I like this browser, it does what it says. The only issue I have is that when I use the back key to get out of the browser, it doesn't fully quit the app. It would be nice if it would do that. This is a problem when using the "add to homescreen" feature. If the browser is still open, it doesn't open the link from the home screen. I have to use the recent apps screen to close it. If the browser is closed, the Homescreen shortcut works fine. Please fix this and I'll give 5 stars!

Blocks ads like a dream; inline and tab openers. As a browser, it kind of sucks. Almost no HTML5/canvas support. No support for background audio. Weird bugs such as the search within page bar staying onscreen forever. I'd happily pay for the same concept on a more modern and fit for purpose browser base instead of creaky old Firefox.

K70%
by K####:

There's no way to quit it, so it sits in active memory until I kill it in the Task Manager. I can't set a custom home page, nor can I structure bookmarks. It does block ads well, and it's a quicker, cleaner experience than the native browser, but it needs a lot of polish to make it better for the user.

O70%
by O####:

This browser is great! It blocks 99% of ads and malware from websites I visit. This would be a 5 star app for me if bookmarks were more easily viewable. Kind of like a library-type format perhaps? Also if I could organize my bookmarks with folders.

X70%
by X####:

No more ads covering your entire page with a tiny elusive X that you cannot tap, no more flashing ads without an X, no more force redirects to install irrelevant apps. I can browse the Internet instead of fighting it! I feel like I reclaimed my phone and it's mine again. Thank you for making this app, it's a service to humanity.

And Google is on v. 29 or 30 I think. It's also a lot slower than chrome. As far as an ad blocking browser, check out UC browser. It has ad blocking built in, and a lot of other features that most other browsers don't have. I think Firefox has an ad blocking extension tho and is also really good. Sorry dev.

M70%
by M####:

It is a great browser. The functionality is wonderful. My only gripe is a vey specific one in that I had a hard time navigating at first but only because I am a longtime Mobile Chrome user and switching back to a Firefox Mobile based browser took some relearning, but that was specific to my situation.

B70%
by B####:

and guess what? This one does not popup ads while using it

Q70%
by Q####:

When we click on "new tab" button directly on adblock widget, please focus directly on address bar directly and make the keyboard popup. Right now it just opens a new tab but we have to manually touch the address bar to enter the website address. So that two step process can be made one step process..

G70%
by G####:

The browser is sluggish. It struggles at navigating through webpages when swiped especially if the webpage has a lot of content. It though rules at blocking advertisement which open up multiple tabs of the browser. It is ideal for navigating through websites or webpages which tend to bombard the client with additional tab opening advertisements. If you do not mind a few unnecessary browser tabs opening up then look elsewhere else you've come to the right place.

Giving it a cursory check. So far so good. Looks like it has a Mozilla base, not sure. Not having a bunch of ads pop up while browsing a certain forum made for a much more pleasurable session. Browser is no more slower than any other browser I use. Feels quicker due to lack of ads. Just wish there was a quit/exit function in the menu. Just don't understand why that's omitted from most android-based browsers. EDIT: Recent update is good to go on Marshmallow ROMs. Thumbs up.

My phone was practicallly pumping out ad after ad for some reasons. But as soon as I figured out how to use your app, the ads stopped. So thank you. Can improve on the speed through, i was using google chrome before which is great for speed but riddle with malwares. Anyhow, i rate you 4.5!! Good job.

It doesn't block ads, actually it becomes another gateway for ads, I get more ads on adblock browser than chrome. It says ACCEPTABLE ADS. But I don't know why the call it that when the ACCEPTABLE ADS are trying to steal my credit card information and my address. Keep your acceptable ads to yourself, cause I had less ads without adblock.

I70%

Recent update restored functions it blocked ads at start and took very little resources. It's now back to not blocking ads forcing me to go into settings and make it download the block list, if I don't a single page open takes up 400mbs of ram even text only pages.

U70%
by U####:

The idea is very good but needs some development. On a rooted device you can edit patterns.ini to add your customized filters and it works fine. But the normal way would be only to put the direct www link of the filter file and the bad is that the imported txt is manipulated and truncated so it doesn't do the job.

(on samsung galaxy note 5) It's easy to use and understand and does what it's expected to do. It's still a little finicky with webm files and when you choose the "save video" option, it saves the whole page instead. As soon as it's patched up, I'll give it a 5 star.

K70%

I really want to like this browser. It's great about stopping ads. I've seen no pop ups, no prompts that bring up the play store to download something and almost no ads. But more than half the time when you click on a text entry field, your keyboard won't pop up at all, forcing you to open a different app and type in there before you can come back and have it work here. It would get 5 stars if they fix that.

Going to try this after each update, but for now not as refined as others. Love ABP for Mac and PC browsers. Need option of bottom bar for various controls such as getting to the home screen or speed dial and tabs etc. instead of reaching to top of screen. Text wrap doesn't work correctly. When you zoom in, the text in an article or message board post should reflow and fit in the screen. Need user agent desktop. Don't want to request it for each page. Should be able to set private mode as default also.

X70%

Im not sure whether or not its the apps fault or some weird thing out of my control but it never blocks ads if i went straight to site. I have to go into settings and the ad blocking settings and have it refresh lists before being able to block stuff. Would it be too much to ask to automatically refresh lists as you start the app? Thanks.

Does not block email signup popovers and cannot add their elements to a custom filter on the mobile app. Even though LastPass reached out to AdBlock over a year ago, this browser still does not work with LastPass. Syncing Chrome bookmarks would make this far more usable, even if it's handled via a desktop Chrome extension that AdBlock can sync to.

I must say that this browser is good. Now I am able to download movies without opening those adds like in other browsers. But developers should work more on page containing download tasks. It just show the percentage downloaded. Nothing more nothing less. It doesn't even show download speed and time remaining. I know its based on Firefox but cmon if u can block adds u can also do that developers. Cheers.

I installed and tried every browser in the app store that offered adblocking. Two both block ads and have good functionality but only this one allows addition of search engines that provide additional privacy (like Duck duck go). The app does tend to use a lot of battery life but tweaks with the 360 app takes care of that! If you don't want to see ads, and want privacy protection then this is the only game in town! Great job!!!!

Q70%

Like the title says, it doesn't work well with youtube. All the videos do is open up the app version, which still have ads. The mobile version of the website is also pretty meh, but I'm going to guess that can't be fixed by the ones that made the adblock browser. If this app can eventually fix the problem up my app opening up without me doing something, I'll happily re-install it and give it 5 stars, but until then, back to 5 ads per video...

Google made it impossible for Android developers to develop extensions for blocking ads. Other alternatives do exist: like routing your phone, editing proxies, etc which are not easy for newbies follow. So, these guys went ahead and written a browser from scratch. An absolute must-have if you like fast and distraction free web browsing. Great work!

I've been using the built in browser and am no longer troubled by those near porn ads. I' m using a Samsung Galaxy S6 for my internet browsing which is mainly facebook. Only problem has been when I try to edit something I wrote in facebook it will not respond. The cursor just stays at one point and never responds. To edit I have to close the adblock browser and open the one that came with my phone. Aside from this one quirk this has been an excellent app.

I have always use firefox and adblock plus on my pc. When I bought an android tablet, I also use firefox with adblock plus (yes, you can install adblock plus for firefox on android too). The moment I knew they released adblock browser for android, I downloaded it right away. The browser is similar to firefox, friendly and easy to use. Like firefox, it displays the website like a pc (that I like). Now I use both firefox (with adblock plus installed) and adblock browser. To all the people who developed adblock plus, thank you, love you guys, 5 stars. PS to Eyeo GmbH: Sorry for taking too much time to reply, I haven't read the review again after installing adblock browser. There's no real reason why I use firefox with adblock plus and adblock browser at the same time. It's just because I make the browser to remember the tabs, so the more tabs, the more I have to slide the screen, and the more RAM it takes (my android tablet only has 1GB RAM). It's just a matter of my self tabs management really. ^_^
