DCPS Parent Guide

This app was designed by DCPS Students for DCPS Families.
Four students from McKinley Technology High School participated in the DCPS App Design Challenge and beat out teams from across the district for an opportunity to build this app from start to finish as part of an internship at Accenture. The students worked together and learned together as an integrated project team making each other better and staying focused on serving DCPS students and families.
The app is designed to give families easy access to the DCPS Curriculum and aligned at home learning activities.
To use the app: Select your child's grade, then the time of year and the desired subject area to read what students are learning in school. Swipe to the right to find out what you can do at home to support and enrich what is happening in the classroom. From there continue to swipe through content, or use the arrows at the top to navigate.
