The Green Heritage Fund Suriname was established by Monique Pool in October 2005 and is a nearly 100% volunteer-operated, charitable nonprofit. Its goal is the protection and amelioration of Suriname's wonderful fauna and flora, like sloths, anteaters and dolphins. Through education, research, audience participation and institutional development it works hard on a healthy, clean and green Suriname!
