Currently supports only the audio and video codecs provided by the Android OS.
SBS 3D Player uses the Qt5 library under the terms of LGPLv3.
Best one ever tried, just if there was subtitle support, I'd surely give it a 5 star. If it do support subtitles already, plz let me know!
Loving it. Jis din da install kita uss din diyan mojaan lutda haaa. 3Dmovies download karn di lorh nahi paye. I m having google cardboard and now i can see all the 3D movies. Really it is a great app. I am giving u advice if u want to watch 3D movies than install it now.
It's perfect for movies that are 3D and not 3D, it can also turn 2D to 3D then watch it with your cardboard. Just make sure you turn the mono to stereo on. Nice features. I like this app! It's free as of this date, no ads. Highly recommended for Cardboard users. 5 Stars
Not going good .its pixel quality is too bad
very nice and clear player ..but big problem is we cant adjust a screen length...zoom unzoom should have
I used it with my VR glasses work pretty nice. Controls like seek and pause via sensor works too. But I would like to suggest an update of this app to make an audio settings or equalizer because I notice It minimizes the Audio when playing. it would a great plus ill give five star for this app if you could boost the audio :-)
This is a very good SBS player. The only problem I've got with this player is, that the ANDROID ON-SCREEN BUTTONS ARE ALWAYS ON, in my MOTO X PLAY! THEY ARE NOT HIDING, NO MATTER WHAT YOU DO. It's taking some of my screen space. I got to take out one star just for that. Hope it will be corrected soon!
1. The soft buttons bar does not disappear.. can't watch movie with it. 2. Looking up to pause doesn't work for me. It just shows the time progress bar like when I look down. Fix it please... it has a lot of potential! Also, need subtitles support!
Great player which does everything I need to play 2D 4k videos in SBS format on my Sony Xperia Z5 Premium. The only complaint is that the app does not seem to support Immersive Mode - which auto hides the on-screen navigation buttons once a video starts playing. This reduces the horizontal viewing area by about 1 cm on my phone, which doesn't sound like a lot but makes a big difference to the field-of-view-when watching videos magnified in a VR headset, Please fix this for 5 stars!
This app is great. The hands free controls are great and I really like the functionality. However everything I watch in this app is super quiet compared to the rest of my phone. It makes films basically unwatchable, especially music films. Please increase the volume of this app. Thank you!
But I can't play 1080p videos properly. The audio is fine but the video lags and is late. Please fix this. I really like your app and would rate 5 stars if you do. Thanks a lot! ☺
No need to configure VR Controller to mobile, just move head left or right, up or down, it's enough. Thanks Developer. But, what I missing in it that it doesn't have the option of picking multiple files, eithet go to File Browser or directly from this Player. Hope You'll update this app after addition that feature.
Tried loads of players and all were crap. This one actually works. It amazed me. Literally can watch 2d videos into a vr. Vr'ed ff pause/play n rw with head movement is double awesome.
If video is played from a Folder or USB and them it is removed, then file open gets stuck and cannot go to root folder to select other. This needs to be fixed. Rest of the features and application is great
Best if compared to many Vr video players in play store. Given 4 Stars because I find only one thing less in this video player it doesn't play the next video automatically please include it in next updates.
and therefore cannot set it as default. Very limited codecs also. No lens distortion adjustment.
What a crap
I enjoy the tilt head fast foward/rewind ability. I have tried nearly every vr player, and this one has to be the best so far. There are reasons why I did not rate this app a 5 though, and that's because it is either missing features that I would like, or has features that I think need to be changed. 1. Menu buttons text is too small, even on my 6.1 inch smartphone, and are placed awkwardly on the sides of the app, which with my vr set on, am unable to see. If they were placed in the middle area, I would be able to use my blue tooth controller to navigate. Instead I must open my vr headset to navigate the menu each time. Menu options are so small, they are unresponsive to touch most of the time. 2. No playlist option. I must open my vr headset each time I want to change to another video. Please consider adding a playlist and a play next video action, maybe by looking downwards to activate. 3. No FOV option. The himido 360 player has an option to change the FOV to past 120. I have not seen this option in most apps either though. Also a feature that will load UO / under-over videos and convert them to SBS view.
Needs to have true full screen, in other words, it need to make the system soft keys like Back, HOME, and App switcher disappear. It would also be nice to have some options for aspect ratio and zoom. But really, except for those it's perfect. I love the mono to stereo option so you can watch anything in the comfort of your own VR realm. No problem with HEVC (h.265) and of course h.264. Can't wait for the fix.
Best player For Galaxy S3!! First off, this won't turn regular movies into 3D movies. It's not supposed to.Go search for side by side (SBS) movies! Second, I've tried probably all of the other players and was extremely disappointed with them. A lot of them were laggy, choppy, or made it seem you were in an over lit movie theater watching a small screen. Who needs that? Third, controls are simple. Lean your head left, it rewinds. Lean right, it fast forwards. Look up and you see the battery meter and time bar. Take them off and lay them flat, it pauses. This is by far the simplest and best player I've found on here. Kudos to the devs!!! You got this one right!!!!
This player works really well with my Nexus 6 and Viewmaster vr. The picture is bright and playback is smooth and the 3d effect is really good. A couple of things would make it even better...the ability to zoom in on the video and look around, and a file browser that can be accessed while the viewer is being used.
No ads..simple interface..and exact control features that are needed for mobile inside VR box. I wish it had support to open file via explorer or network drive. Would have been best for use with my screenplay dx.
I'm getting the following error on certain videos: "error: 3error: (i/o operation failed)". I use an LG Stylio. If anydeveloper is reading this I would love to know how to fix it. On the videos that this does work - it's works brilliantly.
On my phone the buttons are on screen. Home exit back. Can I get full screen in this app? I can get full screen in other apps such as YouTube.
Great, almost 5* except it doesn't use the full screen; the back button, home button and task switcher stay up all through, which tends to get annoying
Deserves five stars, is the best non-virtual theater 3D player on gplay, but there is one major issue: the phone's soft keys won't disappear. I don't have that issue with other apps. Will change to five stars when/if that issue is fixed. Would also love to see more codecs added, but softkey issue is a bigger one for me.
But the only one problem in this application. And the problem is the folder video not played one by one automatically.
I like the tilt head feature but the necessary options. But video is lagging on my mid range Samsung. Perhaps it works better on premium phones.
Please make on screen buttons disappear on nexus 6
How does the custom size option work? I need to shrink the video abit being as my phone is to big for my headset
Excellent sbs 3d video player. Some nice options and clean interface. Just one suggestion is to enable Immersion mode for devices greater than 4.4 API; Search for "Using Immersive Full-Screen Mode" which explains how. Thanks for a great app!
Its awesome but need some improvements 1) playback menu, settings al should be displayed in both sides 2) subtitle selection 3) Auto hide navigation bar thats all folks ,great work keep going
Can you please make dissappear the Android options bar on the right? Except that, it's perfect.
Thank you for the best SBS video player on the market. It just needs auto play of next video in the settings options. And advance to the next/previous video. If they can do the stare at the menu selection function they would solidify their place in the VR world. Currently I need to us a blutooth mouse to menu while my phone is in the VR headset. But again thank you.

Doesn't split image just puts a line thru the centre of the picture. THANK YOU FOR REPLY AND UPDATE. APP NOW WORKS AS HOPED. CAN YOU ADD ABILITY TO OPEN AVI FILES.
I love this app. Just a few suggestions: 1. Make the menu appear side by side. Otherwise you have to take device out of cardboard in order to navigate. 2. Allow full screen mode. On my Xperia z3 it still shows the 3 icons at the side, even though the top bar disappears. 3. Support for m4v files would be nice, but I will convert my videos to mp4. 4. It doesnt like some characters in filenames, such as hash tags (other apps recognise them). Other than those things, this is an awesome app.
Great but subtitel does not appear. No options in setting menu to show up the subtitel. My device is Asus Padfone S. And using .ass subtitel
one star reduced for no option to pan video size. video'o side part is out of vision.
Would have hiven it 5 only if screen ratio adjustment was better....but over all the best app so far....keep up the good work
