Wherever you go, get tips about:
* How to get from the airport to the city
* What are the must-see
* What to eat/drink, including a selection of restaurants and bars
* Where to sleep, depending on your budget
* Local customs, how to stay safe, everything you need to know
Usable without an Internet connection. Better than unreliable WiFi or expensive roaming. Complete with region/city maps and pictures. Powered by Kiwix http://www.kiwix.org/

Great app, too bad there are so little users-perhaps some advertising could help. Regarding the app, only two minor suggestions: invert mode shouldn't invert images, and it could be nice to be able to update some of the articles to recent online versions (for the wikivoyage contributors).
One idea for an upgrade: Add the map links (as on Wikivoyage website). The link should be opened with locally installed map app (e.g. Osmand, Maps.Me, Google Maps, ...). Else amazing app! Edit: I have just realized, that it already works. But not for the first place, I checked (Hpa-An, Myanmar).
I have a Samsung galaxy S7 edge and I couldn't open the app. Now I can use this great app all of a sudden. I don't use the other apps you mentioned that could interfere with functions. All is well now :)
I honestly use this app every day while I am traveling. To see where to go next, what to do where I am, to find a hostel when I arrive in the night, to check out info for an upcoming destination.
Have been using Wikivoyage articles for a while now, just discovered it's available offline in full, instead of having to save their articles one at a time. Sweet!
This is my second most beloved favorite app after the bitmagic offline wiki..this app let me travel the world...thanks a lot to the developer.
Update #2 seems good on both my Galaxy s7 edge and my galaxy s2 tablet. Thanks for the quick response.
Great to have an offline guidebook for anywhere you want to go! Helpful information and fits in your pocket
Like a free lonely planet for the whole world
Try it. I was recommended by profesional traveler.
Absolutely amazing stuff for travelling!
Easier than downloading zim file with kiwix.
When hitting search it just crashes
A wonderful app
One thing is missing though. I would be more than happy if we could suggest edits based on facts which can be verified by other users as per the wiki ritual to keep the info relevant. I know its available on the website but would be nice to do it when i am standing at the very place than after coming bk home. Nyways thanks a lot. Hope this feature is added in further updates, and also a small suggestion/ tag to google maps for getting simultaneous ratings from other users would be more useful.
It's like having the world in your hand. Perfect for offline browsing of places you never knew you wanted to visit. Also some great little gems of advice not found in proper guidebooks
Editing my rating to 5 stars after noticing the Kiwix devs are responsible for this app, and actively develop many of the things i've mentioned im my comment ;)
Very useful and easy to use.Could have been better: remembering recently visited articles and allowing updates of content when online.
While I may have no opportunity to visit all these exotic places, it's truly entertaining to read about what's fascinating at the other side of the globe.
Offline, relatively updated and ad free. What's there not to like
Awesome app. A free guidebook for the whole world and now I don't need the internet to access wikivoyage
Ad-free, offline, speedy. What's not to like?
Free, works off line, no ads???
Prepares, guides & educates you about your journey.
Loved every detail!
Excellent source of essential information and very user friendly...
great free help. thanks
I use the app when traveling, or when bored and stuck somewhere without internet. This is by far my favourite app on my phone!
Perfect offline travel guide for the whole world i've been using for years. It would be helpful to have an option to download only selected regions, the whole 'thing' takes almost 1/2GB of a phone's storage.
Cool, but considering the huge size, it really needs the ability to be moved to SD. Also, text reflow after two-finger zoom would be nice.
