Should I Answer?

Here to update my last review... this has been a great tool to catch calls before I answer and to then have them flagged so they don't even ring to my phone anymore. I also appreciate the previously flagged calls by other users. I have flagged my fair share of calls so far too. Great little community! Now to get the ftc to get these folks of the line. Still teething to figure out how my number got on these lists to begin with.

Incredibly useful. When paired with supported SMS programs, I can also block ninnies I just don't want to communicate with. I wish it supported more messaging integration, but for call interception and blocking, it does what it says, unlike other blockers I've paid for, and its community driven like Waze, so its self-evolving. One of the best apps on my phone, and I don't review a lot of apps, or let them run in the background.

Great concept, and well executed easy to use app. Well worth using & contributing feedback of good & bad numbers! Only annoyance so far is taking focus when Satnav is on & call received, then not handing it back following the call, so screen goes off rather than Sat nav continuing. Hope this can be sorted!

Couldn't ask for anything better. My only wish is if we could manually add numbers to block, from text messages or someone we know and don't want to speak to them. Unless there is a way, I haven't found it. Regardless, this app is the best out of them all. No ads, and straight to the point. Keep up the wonderful work!

This is the best app of its kind! Very easy to set up and it works! It syncs with my contacts and tells me who is calling. Then you can rate the call positive or negative. I love that it automatically blocks telemarketers if you set it to do that. THIS should be the #1 app of its type!!! Extremely better than its competitors!! Thanks and keep up the awesome work!!

I love not having to worry about answering the phone constantly for telemarketers and unknown numbers. Thank you so much for this app. Now if you could just figure out how to put a press 9 to be taken off the list option that would be super!

I really like the app and it does an awesome job, but it'd be even better if the spam/blocked number never popped up at all. I've noticed if I'm on my phone when a blocked call comes through, the number shows for like 1 second, before it's blocked, and then I'm kicked out of whatever app I was on. Besides that, it's a great app and definitely serves it's purpose.

Really useful app. I love that it blocks the spam and robo calls! I also love that I can read other people's reviews of the phone number so I know if it's a safe call or not. Update - 6mths later and I still love the purpose of the app and how it blocks calls. I don't like the usability, but it serves its purpose.

This app is still doing good. However, someone should come up w/a way to track the main number being used by telemarketers because sometimes they use a different phone number than the one they are actually calling from.

Stops calls but not the voice-mail activation, I still get messages from blocked numbers.Can't seem to remove block from legit # after being blocked. Almost perfect, needs an override, because some calls I need to answer (expected).Edit works as advertised, awesome job devs!

I was going crazy from all of the telemarketer calls. They had so many tricks that I didn't know which numbers to ignore. This app has been so great! It catches all of the unwanted calls. I am longer afraid to answer my phone!

This app does what it says. It has saved me from listening to many a spiel I was not interested in. If you ever get a new phone number this app is almost essential. I'm heading off to foreign countries soon and will be using dual-SIM. I'll come back and re-rate when I find out how it works over there; but, so far, I am impressed. Telemarketers suck. This app doesn't.

Pick and hangup feature is not working on a galaxy s4 mini. They leave a voice mail every time Edit: I think it is working again on my s5 active. Great app! Edit2: Pick and hang not working on s8 active, hope it gets updated soon Edit3: Seems to work again will keep this updated

The only thing I would improve is the Instructions Page. With so much to read, I'm not sure what I am doing. A more intuitive HELP section would be less descriptive regarding what the app does, but rather outline what the USER wants to do. "To block further calls from this caller, the User should....' "To share spam and telemarketers'numbers with the Community, the User should..." "To block callers from your own Contacts List, the User should..." "To block all phone calls from a range of numbers or from a specific area code, the User should..."

I started getting spam calls on a daily. It was driving me crazy. I'd answer the call and the spam caller would hang up. I'd call it back and the number was either not working, an automated voicemail for an unidentified company, a foreign country, a loan offer, a vehicle warranty, security system offer, company claiming they were the IRS, etc. It was ridiculous. I couldn't believe it. I also get spam text msgs. This app has eliminated the problem. I highly recommend it. Easy setup. It does not interfere with your phone system. Thank you, Should I Answer!

So far so good. Nips the scammers and telemarketers in the bud! No annoying ads or pop ups yet. Wish it could block those bogus virus infection warnings on Android phones. Keep up the good work guys!

I have had this app for almost a year, and it is awesome. I was so tired of the spam calls, but now this app takes care of all those, and lots of other unwanted calls. When I decided I needed an app like this I just went to the play store and found the highest rated app there. I didn't read anything about it (except whether or not it contained any ads, which it does not) I am so glad I found this app. Thank you !!!!

Love love this app. I don't get Awaken anymore by annoying calls trying to sell me stuff or calling about other non important things. And then if it is something I want to call them back I can. Again my favorite app on my phone!

Super helpful app. Customer service is also incredible at answering questions and walking you through the process if you don't understand how to do something. I highly recommend! Spam calls have declined substantially since getting this app

Wonderful little app that does a big job exceptionally well. Notifications about every blocked call can be a bit irritating but still nice to know I won't get any more telephone sales or cold calls. Amazing thanks guys.

I absolutely LOVE this app!! This app doesn't just show that the call is blocked but does not let the call come through. Just mark unwanted calls as negative, choose from a list of annoying calls and give a description, that's it. Very Simple. I am very thankful for this app.

Fantastic app. I get a ridiculous amount of unwanted calls and this app completely blocks them. Community reviews make it easy to find out who the caller was which I love because I am the kind of person who needs to know what they are calling for but I don't want to talk to the person on the other end.

I was getting 2-3 spam calls a day, sometimes in the middle of the night. They were different numbers every time, so blocking them was pointless. This solved it perfectly. Now, spam calls are reduced to nothing more than a silent notification in the background.

I first installed this app a couple of months ago and it really worked well. All of a sudden it messes with the Google Dialer app and won't let me bring up the dial pad during a call for entering menu options or even to hang up the call. So it now basically renders my phone useless, which is a deal-breaker. When I uninstall the app, the Google Dialer works fine again. Reinstalling the app and setting it as the default phone app causes the Google Dialer to mess up again. I have a Google Nexus 6 phone.

Helps me avoid unwanted nuisance calls. I'm technologically challenged, and I think there are some benefits this app offers of which I have not taken advantage. Not the app's fault--mine. Have recommended this app to friends who seem pleased with it.

I've tried previous apps for phone blocking, but they were either too difficult to use, or they were just stupid/money-driven. I really like this app, though. It's easy to set up and to use. I like writing info about the numbers I've blocked, and it's cool to see reviews from other people.

This app works great. I would recommend you change your display for incoming calls that the app has questions about. Make it simple. Negative history, don't answer button. No history, answer button. Nothing else on the screen if you can manage it

Great app. Blocks all sorts of unwanted calls and provides useful info on calls that are unknown to the user. Would like to see an option to block adjacent numbers to that being called from so as to counter callers that take out blocks of sequential phone numbers. Maybe the user could choose between five, ten, fifteen etc sequential numbers either side of the number that called.

Works well.....telemarketing calls slowed to a mere trickle. Only downside is that the app disables the voicemail number of messages indicator on my galaxy note 5 but that's a small price to pay for the peace of mind this app affords. HIGHLY recommended.

I was constantly getting phone calls from people claiming to be DirecTV. I called DirecTV and they verified that it was not one of their numbers. I installed this app and it's blocked all the spam/fraud calls.

Its great that all users are able to report negative numbers which are then logged and blocked from calling other users of the app. If these nuisance callers change there number, its not long before someone reports it and it's blocked again. ha ha. Brilliant.

An amazing app that solves a very annoying problem which the FCC doesn't seem committed to solving. I have recommended this app to friends and will continue to do so. Thank you to the talented Should I Answer Team!

I friggin love this app. I keep getting blasted with Red Cross calls. Those bastards are worse than any collection agency I have ever seen. I am shocked that they have yet to have Vinny show up at my house to break my legs. Thank you for a great app and uninterrupted sleep.

Works great, except blocked calls still ring thru partway with kind of a half-ring before they are silenced and the option to block or allow it pops up. Kind of defeats the purpose if it can ring thru at all. Make it 100% zero ring-thru and it's a 5 star.

Pretty good app I like it a lot. I don't think it should be set as the default phone app because you can set this app to ignore battery optimizations under battery settings. Also the notification is a big eye sore. I disabled it in settings, and it gave me a big warning but I disabled it anyways.

The app is amazing! The service is great but only works as well as the people who use the app. People need to be more objective with their negative selections. If a legit business is calling you, stop giving them negative reviews! Perhaps you owe them money, but block them with the app, and don't give them a negative rating. Some of us might have regular dealings with that company.

An absolute godsend. Blocks real nuisance calls. You can also report bad calls therefore contributing to the community. Thoroughly recommend. Thank you developers!

Love it. Saves me 5 sales calls a day. After 1 year with setting to answer then immediately hang up the calls are begining to decrease! Will be donating to help this important app and development team!

Excellent app. Finally we are one step ahead of the spammers and scammers. Also emailed a question to the dev team and received a response within a day. Couldn't be more impressed.
