Silence phone call with a single slap!
Handy when your phone rings in the middle of class or a meeting!
* Mute phone with a slap on incoming call
* Silence custom notification sounds with a slap, too! (only works on 4.3 or higher, requires new permissions)
* Previous mode (silent, vibration, sound) is restored after call / notification rang out
* Automatically calibrates the sensitiveness on each incoming call, so that you don't miss calls while you are running, etc. (can be disabled)
* Automatically restarts when the phone is restarted, so you never have to remember to turn it on again after starting the phone

This app is part of my personal research on technology & interruptions. The goal is to come up with novel ways of protecting phone users of unwanted phone calls.
To this end, the app will create an anonymous log for each call, including whether the call was accepted, silenced, or ignored, alongside contextual sensor data, such as the hour of the day or the maximum acceleration. The data will be only uploaded via WiFi, it won't drain your data plan budget! The data is intended to improve the application itself and to be used in scientific contexts. To be clear, your privacy is perfectly protected. NO personal information, such as phone numbers, will be stored. By the design of the data module, nobody, including myself, will ever be able to identify you or your call partners.

Am using samsung J7 indian make mobile. In this model the app works only 0.5g strength only. Otherwise the app need more well shake. More shaking time have the chance to mobile missed from hand.

Working good with my phone. It will be good that, the ringer should silent only the phone is out from my pocket. It should work with proximity. So that it won't accidentally silenced from my pocket. I am ready to pay, if you can add this feature also. Expecting it from you.

Having an issue where by the phone goes to Silence mode when placing a call and never goes back to normal mode. Is there something that can be done about that? I do like the app. I will definatelu give it a 5 after the issue has been resolved. Thank you.

The utility does what it promises and the single feature i was looking for. However, silenser is activated almost every time i pickup the phone.i believe that a sensitivity bar would be a grade feature to this tool so as to allow user to activate more selectively. Thanks

The vibration of my phone on a table is setting this off. My phone only rings once. Just somehow adding a way to calibrate it to my needs. Less sensitive please. Other than that it's great. Also my pocket to silence incoming calls.

Excellent app. When i in class, it work very nice. Now i don't feel disturb at class. Just one slap to silent the ringing tone. excellent. I recomend u to install it.....

Installed this a few months ago and forgot about it until during class, I had set my phone to silent like always, but some glitch happened and I recieved a call at full volume. Just smacked my phone in my pocket and really impressed the girls next to me. They had never seen anything so fluid from an 'I messed up' to perfect recovery. Thank you developer, your app did not glitch even when my phone did, also made some friends too.

Xiaomi Redmi Note 4x triggers it by accident often while using the phone but not a biggie if it doesn't happen while walking / skating. (Still seeing into that so I'll update accordingly.)
