Ideal if you’re a student, teacher or just have an interest in the chemical sciences.
Did you know that neodymium is used in microphones? Or europium in Euro bank notes to help stop counterfeiting? These are just two of the absorbing facts in our customisable app, based on our popular and well-respected Royal Society of Chemistry Periodic Table website.
• See elements in their natural state and real-life applications.
• Check out podcasts and videos.
• Use our interactive slider to see how elements change state as temperature increases, or explore the discovery of the elements through history.
• Customise your app to see only what interests you.
• Use our simple table for quick access to data – like sorting elements in order of increasing density.
I wish mobile technology had been around during my college years. Would have made chemistry much easier to understand and study, in or out of the classroom. That being said, it never hurts to have a comprehensive everyday reference and educational tool at your fingertips. This one is.
Got shown this by my chemistry teacher and it really brings all the periodic table to life! The videos are especially good, especially by the Professor dude! (Forgot his name but you'll know him when you see him!) Well worth getting for chem students!
Has thorough information on every element. But it hasn't included the newly discovered 4 heavy metals. Also it is quite slow
I don't rate often, but this is so good. I'm not an expert, so no niggles. I'll encourage people to download this app.
For something as seemingly simple as "just" the Periodic Table, this app is arguably the best available. It allows you to explore to some extent the magic of the Periodic Table.
Information is great really appreciable but the app is too slow to load and looks unpolished. I'll hope in the update you may fix that
Like their description says, the only one you need. Accurate, detailed, and free.
Looks great. Has lots of information and features. But it's so SLOW. Needs optimising
Freezes then goes black then crashes. Doesn't even work periodically
Great for use during homework, etc. It seems to take a lot of phone power, though.
Original of the name is not there and it is a big drawback.
Media rich app for the periodic table. Audio and video links are available for each element, along with its history and background. Highly recommended.
It's great but missing the recent changes and new element names
Very slow, needs optimization.
Thank you Royal Society of Chemistry and for the devs of this app.
Wish I had this for my chemistry classes years ago. Lots of great info.
Very detailed and elaborate. I started liking chemistry again due to this app. Bravo!!!
This is an amazing app with everything there is to know about the periodic table
It has almost, if not everything needed
So nyc app...i loved it...so much informations and data
Best digital periodic table
It is awesome
Awesome app for gaining knowledge
This is the most complete periodic table I have ever downloaded. Provides complete information I need of each element. Bit slow and would you please add hazard signs of each element? That would be great to give quick information of elements. Thanks!
The effort the developers took to create this app is more than more can ask for for free. It's unbelievable how much this app can do for you if you let it. It's gonna take a lot for any other app out there to outdo this one.
Contains an enormous amount of data about each element: all that you could ever need. Plus images, videos, podcasts and history etc. The only periodic table app you'll ever need. The other apps (some needing purchasing) should just give up!!
I like it... It's nice but no exact, written isotopes information founded which is recently very important to be if you include and with updates resolve the problem so would be great .. Thanks
This is apps should be. Doesnt require your personal info to run it. No special permission needed. Im tired of all apps accessing my private things!
I looked at another periodic table on my computer and it says the warning signs to each element! if you can add all the dangers and hazards section and make them true, can you do that please? And add the extended version into the app since elements 119, 120, 122, 124, 126, 127 will soon be synthesised. Oh and livermorium did exist naturally, because it was suspected of mineral damage. Add widgets and molar mass calculator and the other isotopes for elements. I have known about the new names for elements and i have some good ideas (maybe kinda) for the visual elements images. Bismuth is bad for health since it can stick in the kidney, thus giving kidney and other health problems, such as unclean water to the bloodstream. Add this fact for the biological role for bismuth. Thx, great app.
Liked it! But some information regarding the atomic radius is incorrect as gallium is smaller in size than aluminum but it's the vice versa in the app. Need to be corrected!!!
kindly, sir app is very good but according to me discription should also in HINDI. Because hindi is the language of more than 100 crores people.
It's a great app. But it has one drawback that it does not have the Latin names of the elements. Please do something about it.
With well explain videos podcast and with quality images awesome great thanks a lot....✌
So many features. Facts, interactive features, videos, podcasts and more! This is a must have for anyone! Lots of great info to learn more about everything known. Best of all this app is 100% free! Thanks!
A wonderful program! Lots of useful information and doesn't require any special permissions. Only negative I can think of is that exiting the program has to be done with the task manager. However, despite that minor flaw the app is to good to not give 5 stars. Thanks, well done!
