TextBusy will send a copy of all of the SMS messages your phone sends or receives to an e-mail address of your choice.

Gave this app 3 stars because it worked well on my Samsung S5 for almost 2 years (some hiccups when I exchanged too many messages at one time) over all great. ****Unfortunately it does not function on my Galaxy S7. There is no menu key for me to access settings. Sad to see this app go.

Had purchased it when i had a galaxy note 2. On my asus zenfone 2 there's no menu key and i am unable to configure it. Seriously, you guys dont provide alternative like a touch button in your app? Extremely poor UX

I have 2 step verification on my Gmail account which prevented this app from sending the email. Once I had set up an App Specific Password and put this as my gmail password everything worked perfectly. Link to set up the password is here: https://support.google.com/accounts/answer/185833?hl=en

Samsung Note 2 T889 on Android 4.1.2: Took some time for the first message to get forwarded to a non-Gmail address, but once it kicks in it works fast & great!

Good app that does what it says on the tin.. unfortunately it only worked with the stock SMS app of Android - and I just switched to GO SMS PRO so.. it stopped working, unless i missed something. Good work though!

I wanted to have my text messages forwarded to my work email account, however the app does not work as described. The setup is pretty straight-forward, however all I receive are my out-going messages. The developer is slow to reply back (waiting 2+ days since last reply). Definitely some bugs to remove. Buyer beware. I'm running 2.3.3 on Droidx.
