WWOZ

Great app, love the 2 week archive, but streaming has stopped working. It says it's playing, but nothing happens, and it goes into pause mode almost immediately. Been happening for about 10 days now (mid-Feb. 2017). When it works, 5 stars. But it hasn't worked for over a week now. I hope you can fix it. I miss my Brice Nice/Soul Sister Saturdays. -Samsung Note3 running Android 5.0 An uninstall and restart of my phone seems to have fixed it for the time being. 4.5 Stars.

Love the ability to listen to WWOZ out of town, but I wish it had Chromecast capability.

I have the APP on 5 devices and love it, it has the same behavior as below, says it's playing but not, only on 3 of 5 devices. Going to reinstall

WWOZ is a great station, and unfortunately that's what the other reviews are focused on, not on how well the app works. My review is specifically on the app itself. It consistently quits playing after 2-3 songs, then hangs in the background taking up RAM. The problem is the app, as other radio streaming apps will play WWOZ with no problem.

Great station. Like no other in the world. Please donate if you are able.

App works great, just wish I could pair it with my chromecast?

App works well most of the time, very infrequently gets confused about its state (playing v. stopped). May be fixed in recent releases.

I have downgraded this app from a 5 star to 1 because it turns itself on and is constantly running, depleting my RAM and slowing my phone down.

Heard it in a cafe at The 2014 French Quarter Festival. I couldn't really eat from dancing so much.

Easy to use, great quality, reliable and simply the best jazz & heritage station out there!

What a great app. Although my phone is a lil laggy... But you can't beat these beats!

One issue though. I killed the app and it continues to stream with no way to stop it. You have to open the app again and stop the stream. When you close an app, all hooks should close as well. If not, add an icon on the notification bar to allow for easy start/stop. Otherwise, it does everything it needs to do - stream New Orleans to my phone!

If you love live NOLA music, this is a must. The live wire quicklink is the sh*t.

The app doesn't have the same functionality on the S5. I think it is because of the new menu option.

App runs pretty well. Stops in mid-stream sometimes, but not necessarily the app's fault. App starts itself and runs a thread in background, but not a big deal (suggest adding explanation to description). Developers responsive to comments.

If you love New Orleans music you must have this.
