French Larousse dictionary

Superb! Those knocking this phenomenal resource must either have an older version of the app (as of Feb 17) or are lacking a smart phone. On my HTC One M8 it has been flawless and quickly become an essential tool of my passion for French. Verbs in full conjugation, vocabulary hyperlinked/one touch, clear definitions with examples, synonyms. Incroyable! Remember it's French only, NOT French-Eng so you'll probably want to be at intermediate level. But IMHO it's never too early to immerse yourself - and this amazing dictionary is the prefect starting point. At less than $6 US, it's the find of the year. Merci beaucoup!!!

Le dictionnaire est correcte, mais utilise pas pleinement les capacités d'un téléphone inteligent. Par exemple: avoir un widget permettant de voir des mots et leurs défintions; des activités d'apprentissage, etc. Certains dictionnaires anglais pourraient certainement être inspirant pour ces ajouts.

The best French dictionary and superb value for money. Use it offline but needs a connection to be able to hear the words pronounced. No other dictionary app I've tried comes close to this one. It's a big download but worth it if you've got room

Ont nomment comment en bon Français quelqu'un qui fait une mise à jour en 2017 iOS et pas pour Android? Des vendus à Apple. Alors J'imagine la plupart de vous on un iPhone

One of the most important feature an electronic dictionary must have is a good search engine. The first time I tried to search something, the autocomplete application of my phone added an empty space at the end of the word and because of that, the application was not able to find the word. We are far from a semantics searching application.

Could be nice if the developer can index also all the words conjuge. With her demons forms in that case the search function will definitively be better than a physical dictionary. Also put the favorite in a flashcard subsystem.

J'ai la même application installer sur l'un de mes IPhone. Je dois dire que je m'attendais à une certaine constance au niveau du produit, mais tel n'est pas le cas. La version sur mon autre smartphone est illustrée avec le dictionnaire des citations latine etc etc. Une demi étoile sur 5 décrirais ma réel déception en rapport à cette application littéralement bâclée sur Android. Acheté vous un petit Robert physique. Non mais...

Cette application fontionnait bien auparavant, mais il semble désormais impossible d'accéder à l'historique ou aux favoris. Il serait vraiment temps de faire une mise à jour.

L'intention du dictionnaire est bien bonne, cependant une mise à jour des contenus se fait de plus en plus indispensable. Standardisez le dictionnaire, comme par exemple, ajoutez la definition des racines des mots. Je vous en prie, figurez-vous que c'est indispensable. The app won't open. It hasn't worked for the last couple of days.

For the contrary of "bigoterie", there is "devotion", "piété" and "mysticisme"... wtf ?

Il est temps de la mettre à jour. Par exemple auparavant on pouvait voir l'historique et les favoris aujourd'hui on ne les voit plus.Merci d'avance si vous pouvez corriger cette lacune.

Accès via la recherche uniquement, pas de possibilité de retrouver les mots favoris ni accès direct aux citations. Trop simpliste

I downloaded this app and the English-French Dictionary on to my Neocare Tablet, Android 4.2.2. It does not work unlike all other apps downloaded. I eventually found an email address for Larousse support and have written but they have not acknowledged . I am left with two dictionaries that, when I try to use them say, "Unfortunately Larousse has stopped". If you are thinking of buying this app, proceed with caution.

Requires internet connection to pronounce words. User interface might be Ok in older phones with tiny screens, but feels clunky in new phones. No IPA. One good thing is that verb conjugations are easily available.

too bad can't move the database that takes a lot of storage space to the SD card... other than that, good dictionary.
