This was exactly what I needed. The import format is super simple, it's just "A=B" with one pair per line, so it was very easy to generate a list. However, while it can perfectly export Japanese characters, it can not import them, so I can't use it :(

When I add a new word, it doesn't clear the words from the input field, so when I want to add the next word, I have to clear the words which are still there. That's a little annoying. It would also be nice if there was a way to add more details about the word - part of speech and gender are the most important. With those changes, I'd give it five stars.

I am one to use the simple programs, and I was looking for an app to let me build my vocabulary in a language I am learning. I would also use it as a handy reference to lookup words. This program is helping me greatly right now in its current state. I would love to see the ability to import and export the dictionary. Not being a programmer, I wouldn't know how to best do this or even how much work this would be, but it sure would be a nice addition. I have lots of vocab with definitions that I would like to import into this app without having to retype them all -- as well, if you could export your list others could benefit from the list. Great app -- just what I needed.
