Pirate Radio is an Android App which allows you to create a radio station in the local network.
Every one in this local network can join this station, except when it is protected by a password, and listen to music or other audio data.
The available radio stations are found automatically using UPnP, without the need for cumbersome exchange of IP addresses etc.
The App's name is derived from the pirate radios which emerged in the UK in the 1960s. Those pirate radios broadcast from ships in international waters and came into existence because the regular stations didn't satisfy the people's desire for diversified music.
With the Pirate Radio App you too can share your favorite music with your friends and (if desired) other people.
