German Listening

You can't learn a language without reading and listening. This is lovely! I just wish there would be apps like this one for other languages, like norwegian, japanese, swedish etc.

I just listened to my first story, and I love the setup. It's so easy to follow along and get quick definitions as you go along. It's so important to learn through short, interesting stories, combining both visual (text) and audio content. LingQ is my primary method for growing comprehension with new vocabulary, and I think this will make a nice companion.

Great articles for anyone interested in Deutsch. Click on a word you get the definition and examples of usage. The audio is very useful. Have learned a few useful words and phrases from this, hopefully will continue to do so :)

Great app to learn German, but I can't see translations for words after I close the app. I have to choose news article once again. That's a problem when I have 5-10 unknown words in an article

I love this app - the only thing I would add to it would be the option to autoplay the next recording after one is done. Vielen Dank!

It is great especially for discussion as the vocabulary helps. Also to learn a bit more about Germany. General topics would be nice. Thanks

Just what I need to improve my German! Minor errors occurred sometimes but still deserves a 5 star review

App looks great except it doesn't download any new content after initially installing it. I tried refresh but no new articles appear.

I haven't come across any app which offers such nice stories with meanings and everything! You improve your listening and you also get to read and learn new words with meanings both in English and German! highly recommended app :)

Great help, but with app itself, it would play automatically after you look at a word, which is annoying. What really missing is the lack of pronunciation..

If the article also contain phrases or somewhat idioms, its gonna be great!!! And i would like to recommend for better translation for certain mixed words and for nouns, like they have the article(der die das) includes.

Perfect to listen and read!! Each and evry word is Very clearly pronounced! And even there is meaning of the words in the end! Perfect and easy using! Loved it..

Very good application to practise listening and reading German! Pity it is not available in iOS.

Overall satisfying. The articles are up to date, the audio is clear, and I really enjoy the dictionary function.

Great app for persons aiming to develop their reading and listening skills though the graphics are not good enough.

I love that I can listen to German news and articles anytime and even read them so learning vocabulary is even easier. :)

The news articles are provided along with their audio telecast, it's a great app to learn German!
