Master Violin Tuner

I'm a beginner on the violin and this app has made tuning my violin myself quite simple. That, in turn, makes practicing every day much more fun because I don't feel like I have this daunting task of trying to figure out how to tune it ahead of me. I just open the app, hit Start Tunning, and go from there.

It's really good but tyou have to make sure you are in a very quite room otherwise the microphone will pick up other sounds - but that will always happen and there is no stopping it - so yea really good. I haven't been officially taught how to tune my violin yet in lessons but I found it so easy with this app.

It is relatively simple to use. The sound definitely is better than most. But for someone from a Country like India. The sound seemed a bit off for me. Maybe it's just me. But really well thought out application to tune on the go and as quickly as possible.

I've been playing the violin for 3 years now and my teachers still haven't taught me how to tune my violin. So I found this app online and I downloaded it and I tried it out and it works. My violin is tuned to perfection now and it's great if you need your violin tuned before school. But you have to be in a quiet room because the microphone will pick up other noises. I tried turning it with plucking and the notes weren't tuned correctly so so I used my bow to play the notes and then I was able to turn it correctly. Love this app!

Amazing! I can tune my violin in seconds. The note player can also help you sound out a song if you don't know what it should sound like! Best tuner there is!

Useful app but it seems ludicrous that it wants me to watch a commercial before I can tune my violin AND makes me look at banner ads while using the app. I find the only way to use the app is after disabling data usage in the app settings to avoid video ads. After using a smartphone for 5 years it's the first time i feel compelled to leave an app review: those video ads ruin an overall good app

Useful for beginners. In case of any fault in strings or in violin or in my mobile. it's very difficult. I want to tune my violin with out my masters help. Anyway it needed masters help at beginning.

This such a confusing app! And it only tuned my strings! ????????

Great app. the ads are a bit in the way though. To me the center is misplaced but I'm no proffessional violinist.

Great tuning app that's easy to use for a beginner. It is also has a very simple layout and is easy to navigate. I can get very close to the proper tune with this app by just plucking the strings, but I do recommend using the bow at the end for fine tuning because the tuner seems to pick up on just a little bit more when you play that way.

I think its a great way to tune my new violin. im just a begginer and this was really easy to use. I give it 4 stars because i was hoping i could train my ear to hear the difference but the notes dont last that long so i couldnt tell.

It's Ok but you can't stop the sound of the string once you touch it, you have to wait on it to finish. I don't like that

The app is a great tool as far as basic functionality, but I think it's safe to assume that any person downloading a tuner program is probably a beginner and would greatly benefit from an in app tutorial. Just a quick how to for each of the individual instrument options that the app provides.

I use this to time my violin. Works fine though I've forbidden it from using internet connection because it pops up with ads.

I have no experience of either playing or tuning a violin but was able to tune an Xmas gift for my son easily. I was also able to compare and fine tune my daughters violin which is tuned by her music teacher; that was already almost perfect. Great app!

One of the best free violin tuner that i have came across... Finally found an app that is easy to use and actually makes sense. Worth your time, try this one.

This is a great app, good for tuning your violin. Adds can be a little bit pesky though.

As a beginner, I haven't yet developed the ability to ear-tune, but this is really great. Definitely my preference for performance, (I'll use it before my performance tomorrow, (17, December 16th as a matter of fact!) Good work, Netigen!

Terrible interface, and very ugly, but low and behold: unlike other crappy apps that pretend to be a tuner this one actually works with violin.

Tunes were out of wack i popped my srtinge i hate this app

I hate the app it told me to tune the top finalize knobs and now I broke my violin string

If you are learning to tune, this app makes it frustrating and more difficult than necessary.

I play the violin for school and over break without a teacher to help tune this makes it easy to tune and really helps me get better.

Garbage. Opens an add for final fantasy and then black screen.

After about 2 minutes I Uninstalled it.. Every other tunner I've used had been so much better.

My daughter plays the violin and she thinks this is really easy for her to use and she likes how it has a feature that can play you the note as well so that you can hearvthe note
