Could not be bothered to answer anything you ask.. so I changed to Song Helper (much better app anyway) don't waste your money on this...Can we have a set list that's not in alphabetical order ?..would help if it had Dropbox access

Just wondering if I have to write in a special script/code at the beginning of my songs to favilitate auto play? As when I press play nothing happens? ????

Import is actually easy! Save a song in the right format on your device as a .text file. Then click on it and open it using the 'song book import' option (if you have set a default program for opening .txt files then you'll need to change that. Now, about the set lists.... I can create a set list, but only in alphabetical order.... can that be changed I wonder.

Using a Nexus 5. Won't import songs with chord format in either .text or .chopro. Paid for more expensive version on tablet and works fine. Not sure how to fix this one and useless as it is.

Everything seems to be in check, except I cant figure out why some lines are bold and others are not :/

I find that inputing music is a bit harder then it should be. And unfortunatly this is the only app there is for android. PRO: the page moves for you so when you are performing you don't have to stop playing but that too is limited...I'm hoping for either improvements like key changes or easier song uploads. Otherwise this gets the job done.

After using this for almost a year now, I still love it. One thing that would get my 5 stars back would be Backup/Restore. -- I wanted a dedicated place for my lyrics. They get lost in any Note/Memo App. This is really awesome. I would have tried it sooner if there was a demo, but do invest, take a chance, if you are in need of a Songbook.

Cool theory, but the import seems to be broken on the latest versions of Android. Won't import on Galaxy S5 (5.0) or Nexus 7 (Android 5.1.1), both with updated android versions. I select the app to import to from a file browser or Dropbox and then it just hangs when I click the "Continue" button. I even copied to the device and used a 3rd party File Manager App.

So far, great! But 2 things that i noticed right away with this app that it is missing.. it needs some sort of backup system, also I think it would benefit most people to have folders within folders.

Just what i needed. I just save all my lyrics into dropbox then copy and paste into song book. Bit of editing and im done. I love it.

My only complaint is I don't see a way to backup all the data. I have spent a week getting all my music transferred to this app and would be heart broken if I lost it all.

I see a lot of potential, but there is definitely room for improvement. Fortunately the developer is open for suggestions so I am positive about the future of this app. My biggest request would be native support of the chordpro format (the app does allow import through copy and paste), which would allow the use of different fonts and style sheets and interoperability with other apps. If this is going to be your only platform for your song and chord collection, this app is perfect. But those of us who need our collection on different platforms, should look elsewhere.

The price is good... I bought other app 5 times more costly and they all have issues eith the autoscroll... this one seems to be really good.. I would like to know if there is a way to import songs that are located in dropbox..

I have been looking for an ap to use when I perform. I had been using guitartapp, but its quite buggy and difficult to use. This program doesnt go find the tabs/chords/lyrics, but it is really easy to copy from other programs. It is very stable and no accidental mis-haps wiping out your whole collection. I am trying to find where the files are stored, if anyone knows.

From what I can see, it seems to be what I'm looking for, but the overview here says that you can import from txt or pro files. I have several song files on my computer that I want to import, but I can't see how to do it. When you hit import, it just opens up where you could paste the lyrics in, but how do you copy and paste on a tablet like that?

M70%
by M####:

This app is fantastic! Its easy to use and works well when copying and pasting from tab websites! My only request would be to be able to insert a chord shape into the song so that I can see what Bm7 (or any other chord for that matter) looks like while I'm playing! Chord shapes for both guitar and ukulele chords would be great!

M70%
by M####:

Need to enter the songs yourself - but copy/paste from websites is pretty simple. A nice addition would be to make pasted links clickable so you can link to videos from the song. Also, a feature sorely missing is transposing chords! It would not be hard to do and would really add a lot!

I want to use 'Song Book' for lyrics only. I get the option to open the file with 'Song Book Import', and it opens the 'Song Book Import' page, but when I select 'Continue' nothing happens. If I cut and paste directly in to 'Song Book', some lines are in light (faint) text and some are in darker text. I'm using a Nexus 10 with Android 4.4.2.

Need to have auto scroll timings on as you play not have to go back to edit to change them could also do with a way to edit the chord colours

Wow, just wow! Exactly what I was looking for! If an update had font and more background/color options, it'd be even better! A+++!!
