App won't pair with bagel so it's useless. I've tried older versions of the app but they didn't work either. Not surprising considering the bagel itself is near useless it is so inaccurate but no way to return for a refund. The laser readings are more like a random number generator as some times I'll aim a foot or two farther only to have the display say it's closer. The roller can't match a tape measure, tried multiple speeds, near same with string. Real shame because this has so much potential. Not sure if they're even in business anymore as there haven't been any comment replies from them for more than a few months.

Tried emailing the company about the massive inaccuracy of the product, only for near 4 months on, still no reply. Was looking at this for commercial purposes and if accurate would have order over 10,000 units for staff. Has anyone else got any accurate alternative?

I am unable to pair my device with this app. I cannot take pictures of my measurement. To sum up the app is useless.

It measurements are inaccurate.

It synced with the Bagel I got for Christmas first time and it transfers data correctly. However there are a couple of usability issues. When you take a measurement it gives you a notification, but you then have to manually download the reading. If I am connected just download them automatically. Also, when adding measurements to an image it does not use the tags you have already given the measurement, instead you have to create new ones. Also, show the tags in the measurement screen.

I sent a few comments to developer. Help/FAQ shouldn't just display a URL it should give you a link to click on. Much could be done in app to compensate for limited documentation shipped with bagel. App needs polish in various ways. Usable but not {yet} brilliant.

Update. Got it connected. String works well and pretty accurate. The wheel is still inaccurate though.

I'm using an Android Google Pixel and it keeps losing the Bluetooth pairing. Phone says it's paired but can't download measurements.

String is working but the guide is confusing. You should tell user to pair using bagel apps rather than native android bluetooth settings.

The device itself is pretty neat but speaking from my own personal experience, I never could get it to connect to my phone via Bluetooth. Using a Note 5.

The app works just fine but i think it need some improvement, the voice that recorded was played so low i can barely hear it, and the voice recognition becomes inaccurate. And it wont take a picture with the camera, i need to import the picture from my album

Quick and easy to use. Took several measurements in all modes and synced them to app. The only thing I would recommend to users is turning bagel off as battery drains very quickly.

It would be nice if I can share and export picture with measured data. And app is falling when I want to take a photo...

Everything on tape measure works great, has built-in offset for size of device you can toggle. App has a some bugs, need to reconnect sometimes and measurements don't show up to add to pictures. Overall pretty good.

Initially didn't connect to my phone, but has now started working, hence changing review score. As an app, it seems fine. Not exciting or interesting, just fine. So I'm giving that +4. Where I to review the device though, I'd have to give it a -10. Why? Well lets try and use it. a. As a distance measuring device it fails utterly. The back of the device is round, so it's not possible to lay it flat against the back of something.The front is flat but has a tab sticking up, so you can't push it up against anything. b. The string has an odd hook at the end so you can't run it around anything and exactly back to where you started. c. The wheel has a laser projecting a bar which you would imagine should point to the pinnacle of wheel, providing an easily observable point to both start and finish. Instead though it has been rotated by 90 degrees and points to an arbitrary location. d. The Lasers - dear gods the lasers. There's two of them on this device. pointing in two directions. It's a one in three chance of blinding yourself every time you turn it on. Especially given that one of the lights points in the same direction as the on switch!

i like how at a push of a button i can send the measurement to my phone. when trying to save the data the wording came up in Korean and not English. where is the ability to change the language for the popups?

The app doesn't work on android. The laser measurements on the display get earsed so fast that it's impossible to use it.
