I like this, but I recently wrote the makers to request a PC version of this! I have recieved NO response from any representives!!

At first I loved this app, Been using it for over a year. Then this program started to crash and then started generating bad PDF files in the report side of the app. Because of this I lost 3 major case files, and 13 major citations reports. Thank You Police Pad for messing up 16 cases.

Great application, definitely worth the money. Only thing I would want to see changed is to be able to modify/edit certain wordings such as when making the report into a PDF, not having it said Police Pad App, also not having it say the exact word "officer" as some place do not allow that. In addition, I don't like the fact it puts in your latitude and longitude, I feel that its redundant. Other than those minor things, I love using this app.

Overall I really like this app. I have used it for a few years now to log any activity when I am working off duty employment as an officer. What I really like about the app is that it is pretty easy to use with only a bit of practice. It's quick and easy to log a typical event with just a click or two. This causes an entry to be created and it is time/date stamped and GPS stamped (although I am not sure how to convert the lattitude and longitude to usable mapping). For more in depth information you can photos and notes. When you are done you can go back and generate a report of one event or all events and everything in between. I can keep a daily/weekly log and incident reports and then easily share the pdf to email or whatever app to send it off. One problem I noticed is the pictures in the pdf are tiny, as in literally thumbnail size or smaller. I would ask the developer to increase the picture size so more detail can be seen. It would be nice if I can also select pics in my phone's gallery but as of now I can only attach pics using my camera. One glitch is sometimes things get mysteriously unchecked when I am trying to make a log.

It is not possible to use the photos from gallery. It is not always possible to use the application at the scene.

it would be nice if you could go in and edit times, in case you didn't have time to place an event and you could go back later to add it..

This is a great way to log activity during a shift. However, there needs to be a way to edit the times of the call. I don't know of anyone that will wait to open this app and log the start of an emergency call. Getting the times from dispatch afterwards is the norm, but you can not manually put the times into the app.

Love the app, however it doesn't always allow the user to generate a report. When I check what I want on a report it doesn't always generate. Thankfully the information stays on my mobile device.

Y70%

I work for a small campus security department that operates without the benefit of dispatch. This is extremely useful for keeping a log with accurate times. Minus one point for the ability to turn off GPS not actually working. Edit: was 4 stars but take note that it is flawed and the developer has abandoned it - no updates since 2012.

I'd like to see better use of the space on the report on the right side, maybe columns. Paste snapshot of map for each location. It would also be a plus to have a separate mileage field for each entry.

As a motor officer I use this app to keep my daily log. I really like the ease of use. I did notice that we can now add log event titles. Thank you for a great app.

Great App I use it while I am on duty, could use Military Time and make it so my report isnt 11 pages long at end of my shift.

Updates are awesome! Easy way to keep track of the shift especially when it gets busy! A must have for any patrol officer!

This is apparently an abandoned app by the creator. No updates since 2012.

As a law enforcement professional, I had field contact for my iPad and loved it. This app seems to be able to document an entire event, and not just the person that you are coming into contact with. I loved the ability that field contact allowed me to create a database of all my contacts.

Everything works great except the fact that the reports are still not being generated, which happens to be it's most important feature for me when working with multiple jurisdictions. It worked once, then no more. Quite disappointing when we're trying to be more efficient by using apps and they fail to work. If you're able to fix this, it would certainly be worth it; otherwise it just confines space on the phone. Even more disappointing is the fact that there have not been any updates since June of 2012.

Excellent program, just need a monthly summary on specific crimes created/added. Also a summary breakdown of specific people / areas of complainant to see your focus area and what people complaints to much, ie crime intelligence needed with next upgrade

I would love to see instead of police pad, giving the app a name such as officers report pad. also allowing us to upload our own badge icon during the printout.

Love the potential of this app reports need to be customizable we are not all police officers and definitely 24hr time love your work please customize this app

L70%

Great app that can be used in many ways. The first thing that makes it difficult to sell to administration is the report. My first one, and I am with a small department, was 9 pages long. I like how it can be customized but there should be more customization options. What about 24-hour time? I look forward to seeing how things are tweaked and making this app even better.

F70%
by F####:

Perfect app for anyone needing to log activity time at an incident scene. Suggest offering an option other than "officer" since not all emergency responders are LEOs. App also needs to close completely rather than continuing to run and restart in background.

V70%
by V####:

Please fix immediately...!When i select all and hit generate report i sometimes get a report that is completely blank, and other times it only shows two or the of the selected areas. Otherwise the app is fine. It logs all information correctly but would be awesome if you could tap a button and say what you want it to log. When you are driving or extremely busy it is difficult to stop open the app the find what you want them input the notes...

M70%

Very basic, virtually a note pad, unable to edit types of cases, no predefined fields for persons of interest, victims, locations etc for investigations, so you have to manually enter these into a minute pop notepad type screen on your device with virtually no means to format prior to PDF. Needs significant improvement to make it a useful tool which will allow for a timely use for policing/investigators. PDF of photographs in low res and not suitable for evidentiary purposes.

I just purchased the application. I am the assistant Director to Public safety at a small University (4 thousand total students). This application is awesome for us. It would be wonderful if you could show the exact type of incident that you were dealing with. Example( Liquor law, Public Drunkenness, Theft, Disorderly Conduct, criminal mischief,..) To name a very few. Also If I could add this program to my Laptop (In The Vehicle). That would take out all of the guess work at then end of the day. Thank You D. Campbell

At least on the original app you could rename the log you emailed to your commanding officer. You need to be able to put your department, name, badge# and date down. Other wise your commanding officer will not be able to decypher which log belongs to which of his officers. I like police pad but I have to say Apple IPad's Cop Logger has you beat and because of it my police department decided to go with IPads and cop loggers system

I have to agree with Anthony, great app for security patrol work. I love the GPS mapping. And the ability to make personalise log reports. But is it possible to get a version that says Patrol Pad instead of police pad. Or have an update that allow us to use company logo?
