TouchMix-8/16 Control

If you gig with this you must turn off auto update for this application in the play store. Twice I've had a gig, only to find the app auto updated and no longer worked with the mixer's current firmware. Very bad scene. QSC should warn you about this in the instructions. Lost one star for that! I prefer my galaxy 10 to the touch mix screen.

Installed recent software updates. The screen load is better with the update. The screen flicker while takes longer, still happens. When screen flicker happens the software exits gracfully. ( mahalo for that fix ) and rejoin is smooth. I can not at this time make it happen the same way twice. I will keep trying to nail down what's going on. 10-31-2017 Tested on Samsung Note Pro 12.2 >5.0, Tab S 3 >7.0.

Same as Doug Lewis (D 10-14-17). can't use a good product if it doesn't stay on! Last version stayed on. I hope qsc reads these. I'll be calling them today. They have treated me well in the past. I have a Samsung s2 tablet and have even removed the app and then reinstalled it. No luck. The mixer is not shutting off, only the tablet is. which is why I bought the tablet. Qsc please help. You will sell a lot more product with great quality and taking care of your customers. I run the qsc sw 153's with the touchmix 8 and the 153's are absolutely incredible!!! And I have been seriously thinking of thier sw 181 subs for extra heart pounding punch! But that will be contingent upon how they treat "US" on this issue and hopefully fix it soon. $800.00 to $900.00 is a lot to spend on something that doesn't work.

Performs terribly with constant crashes

Called QSC and told them about on-going issue Mute Buttons are a grayed out red color (on my HTC U11 Android phone,) but don't work, not functioning at all. Sliders work but would be nice to mute, unmute, and mute the channel again. They couldn't tell me much. just they have to check the software on the touchmix then the app to see which side it's on. This has been going on since they added Android mute function on my old phone. Come on QSC!!

Ver 3.0.21772 is suppose to have larger transport keys for record/playback, but that is only true in Record mode. Mp3 playback mode still has small keys that is difficult to operate on a mobile phone and tablet. The playback level fader is also not shown during mp3 playback on a mobile phone. So remote control of mp3 playback is limited and awkward with the small keys.

Tried to use the app from the Play Store back a few months ago and all I got was a black screen. The update came along and thought all would be well, still a black screen. I'm using a Google Pixel. The App on my iPad works just fine.

Worked great until the last update. Now it locks up and goes to black screen within 30 seconds. Used to stay open but now disconnects and takes forever to reconnect. Completely unusable for live monitor adjustments. LG V10

Stupid update..... QSC as always put a product non-tested with a tons of bug.... have to wait between 10 to 50 seconds with a black screen before something happens.... brand new galaxy S2..... QSC stop trying to shine and work properly please ! ! THE APP CRASH and no support by QSC... they don't care about customers as soon as they buy!

I preferred the app with the old firmware. Now for some reason on my Galaxy S8 Plus I am unable to control the muted option on my faders. I can control the faders though. App crashes too.

This app has a few problems on phones. The biggest problem is the black screen when something goes wrong. I think i finally figured out the problem, at least that I am having. When you start up your mixer, make sure it comes up with "successfully joined network" or else when you start this app it goes to a black screen. I found out I was having this problem by getting a black screen on the app, setting up the network manually, and then opening the app again. Also, make sure that the setting on the mixer is set to "simple screen" and not "advanced screen" when using a phone if the other thing doesn't work. Also make sure that if an update occurs on your phone for this app, that you also update the software on the mixer if there is a new update for it. Hope this helps somebody.

I downloaded this app to my tablet and it works fine it does take a little bit to load but other than that it works great have access to all features of the touch mix 16

Black screen forever, then won't find the mixer when finally pops up... Doesn't work at all for me.

It wrx on 2 of my phones! Tmix 16 owner..Super dope. I love it. Im buying a tmix 30 soon.. BEST LIVE MIXER OUT.

App is unstable and crashes. Starts with a black screen that may last up to a minute. Overall unusable disappointing coming from qsc.

The upgrade opened nicely the first time. It looked awesome, I noticed a huge improvement where the layout is concerned. The new features are also very welcome. When I tried to launch it the second time, all I got was a black screen. It takes about 30 seconds for the black screen to be replaced by the homescreen. I haven't used it yet but I'm sure it will work as good as the previous version.

I have installed the 3.0 update and when opened, my Moto X pure edition goes to black screen also, but after around 30 seconds, it seems to always open. I wanted to see if it had something to do with not having the Touchmix in front of me and running. I haven't had a chance to see if that is the difference. Maybe it's just taking that long to load. I think the previous version had a "loading" graphic that seems to be missing on this version. Of course I get the monitor only version of the App on my phone. I haven't tried it with an​ Android tablet yet. By the way, I'm on Marshmallow 6.0

Awful. I would say dont download, but if you've already updated the firmware on your touchmix you have no choice. of course, if you use an android and download this you will find nothing but a black black screen. if you download the apple version on your iphone you will find incredibly small font that you can barely see...and screen that is SUPER slow to respond...and you have lost control over panning and user buttons. terrible.

Don't upgrade!!! Moves very slow on console and tablet. Doesn't stay connected to console and its a nightmare trying to reconnect. Is there a way to convert back to the previous version? Mute doesn't work anymore when you use levels only security setting. Also doesn't work when using app on phone. Stop and playback buttons also don't work with user buttons.

Still learning the main console, so installed the app to have a go. A little bit of lag and not quite as rapid in adjusting things, but for the sake of being mobile through the venue, and still be in control. Fantastic. Running on a Galaxy Tab A 2016.

Please add full mixer control on devices with 5.5" and 2560 x 1440 (WQHD) screens. Let the user decide if the size is enough for them or not.

Doesn't work... Black screen of death!!!

No problem connecting with the board but the older version my battery life was much longer the newer version my phone was almost dead and the end of the gig with a %100 charge .

S8 plus screen size problem when open app

Great app easy to use.

Really disappointing that the unit will only work on screens larger than 7". It works on a phone, so why not a 7" screen. Not sure why they made this restriction on the app against tablets. Would love it if they would allow it to run on smaller screen tablets.

Just a few complaints here. I have a Samsung Galaxy A Tab, Lg Stylo and Lg K7. App doesn't show compression is engaged on channel strips, and freezes often. Bigger issue is Android app will NOT connect to a wired network period. The app recognizes the network but cannot connect at all and even have the Plugable usb to ethernet adaptor that QSC says is compatible. Lets get on the ball QSC!!

No EQ control for FOH!? The Android mobile device app is basically useless besides adjusting channel levels. Please add EQ controls for the mains at least. I love the mixer, but hate the Android app. I'm being forced to buy an iPad just to have a remote! Weak sauce programmers!

iPhone app worked fine, but this version doesn't work at all. I switched from an iPhone 6s to a Google Pixel in December and the app hasn't worked at all. Will not connect to the mixer, which is running the latest version. The Touchmix 30 app was updated just a few days ago, but this app hasn't been updated since June of 2016. Please fix this.

New version is no longer compatible with my tablet! That really sucks!

I tried setting up my Android Galaxy S2 with the QSC Mixer today. My tab kept telling me that I need to "Upgrade the mixer to version 2.1.4922. The app will now close." (The mixer is currently running 2.1.4583) When I try to upgrade the mixer, it does not give any options for available upgrades. ??? I am hoping to figure this out soon because this app would be awesome!

My iPad is 100% stable. Android works only to adjust fader levels but freezes once I adjust anything else, like eq, effects etc. Please help, I have a Lenovo TAB A7-30HC

Works great on iPhone 5 but keeps asking to update the touchmix to 4.1.2944 which I've done. It seems to connect but comes up with a screen that i can't override then closes. Please fix for S6
