About TouchMix-30 Control
TouchMix-30 Control is an app for Android smart-phone and tablet devices running Android OS version 5.0 or higher. It provides wireless control of QSC TouchMix-30 Pro digital sound reinforcement mixers. Visit www.qsc.com for more information. The app is not intended to perform any audio mixing or processing tasks on its own.
When run on a tablet device, the TouchMix Control app closely follows the operational paradigm of the mixer. The tablet and the mixer GUI operate independently so it is possible for the tablet to act as an additional user interface that can display and control a set of functions completely different from those being controlled by the mixer’s screen and hardware. An alternate operation mode – Follow Mixer – is also available. With Follow Mixer engaged, the tablet follows the fader selection on the mixer. Touch a fader on the mixer and the tablet will display that channel’s Overview, EQ, Compressor, Sends or Gate screen. Touch a parameter on the tablet and the mixer’s rotary control will adjust it – or just drag on the tablet screen. When used without an actual TouchMix, the app acts as a demonstration of the mixer GUI and functionality but does not control audio in any way.
On a smart-phone, the TouchMix Control app functions as a personal stage monitor mix control with the option to also remotely operate the mixer’s record and playback features as well as programmable user buttons. The mixer operator may allow or restrict access to selected functions on a per-device basis.

A great app for remote controlling your TM30, but it seems it has trouble with 2k screens. When I start it uo on my Nexus 6P, it says it may behave strange because of my disolay size and after a few seconds it goes berserk!

Note - there are versions for devices with screens smaller than 7 inches and larger than 7 inches. Small screen version: Software version 1.2.28 Works well on Nexus 5 (Android 6.0.1) Not reliable on Nexus 6P (Android 8.0.0) - waiting for update for Android 8. Large screen version: Software version 1.0.7110 Works poorly on old Dell Venue (Android 4.4.4). Faders are very laggy but works ok as a display device - for example as a permanent RTA screen. Was surprised to be able to install this app on such an old tablet - not officially supported.

It worked great on my iPhone but once I switched to the Google pixel 2 it crashes. As soon as music starts the board starts going black in sections and flickers. At this point I can not use the app anymore and I have been using it every weekend for the last year. This is very upsetting as I need it for work and can not use it. The start up for the app on the Google pixel 2 is very delayed. I'm waiting on a black screen for over a minute sometimes before anything even shows up.

Will not open or properly function on my Android Samsung S5. Nothing but a sideways black screen when opened even after multiple restarts. Needed it for a gig with a new sound man this weekend so I can run my own monitor mix from behind my drum kit during the show.

Using this app on a BB Keyone. With permissions set to access only a specific stereo aux, the pan function does not work. If permissions are granted to Main L/R then the pan function works on both Main and Aux. Otherwise this would be 5 stars.

It was working fine until recently... just keeps crashing once audio starts. Terrible because the one thing you need live is stability. Without stability, the mixer is useless. For $2000 I expect more. Now I'm thinking of returning.
