El objetivo de esta edición de la Biblia fue crear una Versión pura de la Biblia para los hablantes de español del mundo, fiel al texto antiguo de la Reina Valera de 1602. Tiene un español exquisito, académico, fiel al original.

La iglesia trabajó más de 15 años en el proyecto de lograr una revisión purificada de la Biblia Valera de 1602, utilizando para ello el texto griego Textus Receptus, el texto Masotérico en Hebreo y la Biblia del Rey Jacobo (King James) en inglés. Se cotejaron versículos tras versículos en todas las versiones protestantes antiguas para lograr encontrar las palabras precisas y adecuadas y con más significación en español. Además quitaron todos las lecturas de los textos críticos y se enfocaron en la corrección de cualquier error doctrinal, asegurándose palabra por palabra que ninguna quedara omitida o mal traducida.

Su gran meta fue conservar la belleza de la Reina Valera original.
Fue terminada en 2007 y publicada en 2008.
