The Asterium Family locator allows you to use your smartphone or tablet as a GPS tracker.
Connect to your account all your Android devices and share their location with family and friends.
Just follow these steps:
1. Install on friends smartphones Asterium Family locator app
2. Choose "Enable tracker" in main menu (your location will be found within few minutes)
3. Add friends from Your social network in menu "Friends"
You can also share your location by sending a link to Google maps via SMS, email and other ways, You do not even need authorization.
To save battery life You can use the automated coordinates sending at a specified interval (from 1 minute to 24 hours, default is every hour).
The location update frequency is only 1 second and depends on the quality and coverage of the GSM network and the level of GPS / GLONASS signal. However, in the absence or small number of satellites in line-of-sight on your Android device, the telematics data accuracy and speed of geolocation can be significantly reduced.
To add friends you do not need to spend money on SMS and to enter fiddly secret codes: just log in via Facebook, Google+ or VK.com and your contacts will immediately be available for interaction. The app will identify which of your friends is already using the Asterium family finder, and who can be invited.
In order to share your location and to see where your children or friends - create a Hub and invite into it loved ones. You decide when to hide and to show your location to other members. Hub is a closed group, access to which is possible only at the invitation of its Creator.
You are free to send private messages with any users of Asterium family tracker. And for more convenience communicate in a common chat rooms, which available to all Hub members.
You will always be aware of everything that happens in the Asterium family locator and do not miss important events and messages with a notification system.
Install family GPS tracker Asterium on the car audio system (head unit based on Android) of your vehicle and it will always be under your supervision.

The app is pretty straightforward and accurate. However compared to SE tracker it lacks two features - to set up alarms - to set up a do not disturb time period (Eg when the child is at school) Please add them in the future releases.

I connected my smart kid watch and it works fine. The watch came from China supporting only 2g sim and the device was permanently offline since we use 4g. I installed this app and everything works fine. I paid some extra money for the complete process, but I'm very happy with it.

Can't add a second Q50 kids watch! After scanning it keeps searching for it but with no luck. Watch has reception and is working fine with other app, so no problem with it but I don't want to use different apps for different watches. If I manage to add it, I'll adjust the star rating

GPS-tracker done right. It's stable, accurate, pretty functional and well integrated with social networks. New features are added on a regular basis, as well as improvements on performance and power efficiency. And I have to say, that the developers team is really open to suggestions and requests.

I can't get it to work. Someone please help me out. I have the Q50 watch for my daughter and everything is in Russian for this app, so I translated it to English...but now it is trying to send a message to the sim card number....it makes NO SENSE

Hi! I have installed the application and I'm able to track my child's watch. This is great. What I couldn't do was to track the same watch from my wife's phone. Is it possible to track the same watch from the two phones? I was trying outside by many times to add a new tracker on my wife' phone but without any success. The application remains blocked in searchin after the watch. Please advice.

I really like this app so far. It's the only one thats been able to track my kids GPS watch. But I would like to know how I can add 'places'? I would like to name his school etc and be alerted when he arrived but can't find the options.

I would very much like to give you 5 stars, but it is very very anoying, to login I have to try up to 20 times . Everytime I'm pressing G+ login, I'm getting "Network failure" message (doesn't matter if it's Wifi or cellular network connection). After login everything looks ok, I'm using it for a W5 watch and it has almost every function needed. In My trackers if I press the added tracker name I get an FC. LATER EDIT: everything was fixed, new functions added, great development!
