English Scottish Gaelic Dictionary and Scottish Gaelic English Dictionary (Beurla Gàidhlig) database will be downloaded when the application is run first time. We recommend you to use Wi-Fi connection.
English Scottish Gaelic Dictionary is OFFLINE and does not need the internet connection.
Main features of English Scottish Gaelic Dictionary:
1. History – every word you ever viewed is stored in history.
2. Favorites – you are able to add words to favorites list by clicking the “star” icon.
3. Managing History and Favorites lists – you are able edit those lists or clear them.

As I just said, I enjoy this. I use it for a Scottish character in a text-based MUD I play. However, I want o be able to use the words I find in real life, and some are hard to pronounce, and others aren't pronounced in the way in which they seem. So, add in a button that has a voice pronounce it, or a literal writing of how it's pronounced.

I was hoping it was similar to other apps I've downloaded where I was able to enter entire sentences and receive the Gaelic version and be able to hear what it sounds like it does not do any of these things as far as I can tell it just does words one at a time

The biggest let down of this app is that, although audio of the English word is enabled, there is no audio example of the Scots Gaelic equivalent. If we knew how to speak Gaelic, and thus pronounce the word correctly, we wouldn't need the blasted app in the first place.

The older members of my family speak gaelic fluently but I can only read it, this is helping me get 8n touch with my traditional roots
