Why not bring up the numbers-only 10-key keyboard when I open the app (like in their screenshot)? Such a basic thing to completely screw up. You have to touch the field, which brings up the full alphanumeric keyboard that we don't need. Dumb oversight. The only thing we do is pull up the app to get a code. Think about that process and streamline it. Geez. Update: They still haven't figured out how to support the numbers keyboard, yet Microsoft's website (no even an app) can do it. Pathetic.

Gets the job done, but you could spend actually one day on improving UI/UX and boost your reviews by half a star. Usernames in the list are too small (perhaps add a size setting if you don't want to make it bigger outright?), there is no way to set a default token, the app icon is low-res, the "close" option has no place in the three dot menu (standard practice is to use the home button), the list option should not be added to the three dot menu after you click the information option (standard practice is to use the back button), and the words MobilePASS in the header are not centered. Even if you touch nothing else, addressing those items would make the experience a lot better.

It's functional, but could really use a UI overhaul. I wish there was a widget too. I hate that I have to open the app, then click on the token I want. I only have one, so show that one by default. Forced to use it by my company and there is no alternative. New update, and more of the same. Functional but seriously guys, get a new college grad to come in and redesign this app to match the current Android design specs. Give us a widget that goes straight to the key we want. I have to use this app several times a day for our MFA and that small feature along would save me multiple steps. Looking at other reviews it seems pretty clear this is just a check box app for SafeNet. Yeah we have Android support. I hope potential IT customers are reading the reviews before they decide this solution is the best fit for them.

App is crashing, I deleted and reinstalled the app and it's still crashing. I have to use it for work and I need assistance ASAP.

R70%

The app does not create an app icon in the app drawer. I have to search for and start it from Google Play Store every time. Expected horrible design, got just that.

Crashes a lot I have to reinstall and get a new token which costs me a day every couple of months. Half works most of the time

R70%

It's a nice app, request the developer to make the activation code in numeric rather alphabets which is quite difficult to spell out

R70%
by R####:

Wasted 2 days, still not able to activate a token. Giving 'authentication failed ' error when tried to use the token generated by this useless app

R70%
by R####:

With an hour of developer work this app could be much better: No numeric keyboard while entering PIN, too tiny list view (most users have only 1 account)

S70%

With new update the app is crashing every 1 min

Great App. As mentioned before by others, have the Pin accessible but just a keypad, or use fingerprints. Also to have the token Auto copy to the clipboard would be helpful!

Works so far but has a very poor interface that is definitely ancient looking.

Initially when installed the numeric keyboard started up by magic.. After a while (a year or so) I now only get a field to fill in, need to click, keyboard starts up and I manually has to chose numeric.. Would be nice to have numeric to magic pop up again.. Note.. Rest seems to work perfect!

R70%
by R####:

To get to see your passcode you need to give your pin, but the pin field is not focused. You need to open the keyboard yourself and even open the numpad separately. The pincode is all numeric so it would make sense to have the numeric keyboard open when you are asked for the pin.

R70%
by R####:

For something with such limited functionality, it is amazing how poorly the UI is designed. The PIN is numeric, so why pop up the full keyboard instead of the numeric one? Why is focus not on the PIN field (which is the only field)? Why log me out every five seconds? Ugh.

S70%
by S####:

It's so simple and they still can't get it right. Doesn't support fingerprint scanning. The token input doesn't even recognize that it's only numbers and show the numbers keyboard instead of full keyboard. Design is really bad too.

I am not getting an option to add a new token or create a new token for my One Plus X device. Can any one help in resolving the same. As I need to have 2 tokens installed for 2 different accesses. Please review and fix this issue guys...!!

Terrible interface. No ability to rename - if you make a mistake then you have to get an administrator to reset the account and add it again. If this is representative of the solution, then it makes me question how well the security parts are written. I wouldn't consider buying the solution for our own organisation based on what I've seen. We only use it because some of the companies we work with use it.

I' m using version 1.4.4 on my iphone and works and look ok. I dont understand why they switch to this worst version? When something is good dont change it. And technical suport is usless they have no clue what we talking about. Hate this new version. 1. Why do i enter all the time the pin code? Waste of time. 2. I need to rename the token it is important for me. Change this and i will change my rate to 5 stars. Thank you.

-= Broken! =- This app is broken. Following parts are not working on newer phones (Android 5.0 and up from Samsung - all models, LG - all models, ......): - No menu button, and this cause: - no possibility to rename, change, or delete a token - no possibility to add second (or more) token(s) - keyboard is going into regular input mode and not into pin input mode - app support ask for SAS, SAM or Safeword backend server product instead to fix android app. I hope someone at SafeNet/Gemalto will see our complaints here.

Latest update in December 2014 claims support for Android 5.0 lollipop. Newer phones so not have menu button at all. You cannot rename, change, or delete a token. This is an absurd lack in an app that is specially for a smartphone OS used by more than half the smartphone users in the world. Technical support at SafeNET was unhelpful: "backend group is obviously working on a new release. Wait for that and install."

Security App with a buggy and primitive interface. 1. Once screen timeout/locks, security key generated with manual policy string times out and no way user can recover to opt for a PIN, even though it is activated. Basic functionality - broken. 2. No help available in app. No use of developing such primitive apps and sell them to customers to use it with Cisco Any connect VPN.

Z70%
by Z####:

I was able to load the app and get it started, but trying to register using the email sent from our IT people fails consistently. AND each attempted registration failure leaves a desired ID tied up (i.e. unusable) as well. There has got to be a better way!

Terrible UI usability, terrible documentation, terrible concept... painful to use.

Needs an easy to find menu button in the interface I love this app because it makes my job easier, setting it up for users allows us to have secure logins and bypass other more inconvenient methods, however setup can be tricky because the menu buttons are hard to find. Most of the users I help are not the kind of people who have a strong familiarity with technology. Some are even elderly and make mistakes during the setup process. I have to talk them through deleting old tokens to start over, but that menu button is a pain to find. It's almost impossible to describe to people who are a stones throw from being Amish how to find a menu in this app. There's lots of blank space in the app screens, a menu button can easily fit in there.

Z70%
by Z####:

This is such a simple interface. Why did they screw it up. For newer phones without the menu button you need to hold down the app select button for 2 seconds. Then you only get the create token function. No reset or delete.

Z70%

The only issue is that in the Token Authentication screen Token Pin entry does not change to numerical keypad. Screenshots suggest it should. Can this be fixed, please?

E70%
by E####:

On first use and set up of the token, it asks for a OTP pin. It should say something to the effect of "Set up a pin" or "Create a pin". This took a call to IT because I have a few different OTP tokens and wasn't sure which to use.

The app does the job. I had issues during auto-enrollment as my internet signal was weak but after that, no problems at all. On my older version of Android I had to press the app windows button for a few seconds to open the MobilePASS menu. The design is a bit outdated...

O70%
by O####:

Pin input area loses focus when I switch keyboard to numbers. So then I have to select the input field again and go back to the keyboard. Why are you not fixing this trivial problem! Horrible to use - day after day after day...

Z70%
by Z####:

This app functionally works fine, but the devs need to update. The issue is with newer phones that do not have a hardware menu button, this includes Samsung Galaxy S6, Note 5, etc. Past workarounds that could work include a long press of the recent apps button, or a long press of the back button, but sometimes even these don't work (note 5 confirmed not working). Thankfully Samsung includes an option in the Settings->Accessibility->Dexterity and Interaction->Assistant which will enable a floating menu

Z70%
by Z####:

Least intuitive UI I have ever seen. Newer phones will not have a menu button. You need to turn on the assistant menu in the accessibility settings on the phone. Not having a menu button is a massive oversight. The average user should not have to go putzing around the settings menu to do something as common as adding/removing/editing a token.
