About Basketball Stats Assistant
Basketball Stats Assistant will help you out tracking stats of a live game really quickly , you won´t miss any action of the game.
*** AMAZING DRAG AND DROP SYSTEM
By dragging and dropping the game action into the player you record the entry into the system., without missing any second of the game.
***TEAMS CONFIGURATION
Set the name, t-shirt colour and number of players of both teams as well as their names and numbers to have a more realistic experience and a proper excel file with their names and statistics. The teams will get saved automatically.
***GAME CONFIGURATION
Configure also how many quarters and minutes per quarter.
*** GAME ACTIONS ( If you have any doubt about what an icon means, drag it into the ball at the court center).
Track points per player , offensive and defensive rebounds , free throws scored and missed, fields goals scored and missed, three pointers scored and missed , personal fouls , assists ,blocks , steals , turnovers.
If a player is fouled out , you will not be able to assign any action to it , just drag it to the bench.
*** MADE A MISTAKE ? NO WORRIES , YOU CAN CANCEL ANY ACTION INSTANTLY
If you have made a mistake do not worry, there is a cancel last action option , that you can drag over the player that you assigned a wrong action, and remove it easily .
*** DO YOU WANT TO HAVE A QUICK LOOK TO A PLAYER´S STATS WHILE THE GAME IS ON ?
Drag it into the center of the court and have a quick look at his/hers stats, whilst you keep tracking the statistics of the game.
Get the teams statistics by clicking into Game Stats (Pie chart icon).
*** SCOREBOARD
Control how much time is remaining on each quarter, and observe how the scoreboard gets updated , hopefully your team will win ! .
*** SAVE STATS ( EXCEL FILE AND SAVED GAMES SECTION )
As soon as you save the game a file will be automatically saved in an excel file as well as in the app database under the saved games section (only one game for the free version) , where you will be able to overview all the past games with their stats!
You will find the auto-generated excel file under a folder in your device with the name of the application.
*** SEND STATS IN A EXCEL FILE GENERATED BY THE APP
Send the stats via email , bluetooth , Skype ...
*** SHARE RESULT ON TWITTER
Share the result of the game on twitter with a pre-populated message.
Permissions :
-Right to access the storage in order to save the statistics of the game.

... But isn't as functional as I need. My home bench falls off the bottom of my screen, even with a 10.1" screen. I think fouls and turnovers should be words instead of symbols as I was confused by how to get them for a while playing with them. And I need to be able to save teams, even if it's just my local team. I could use this covering PBL games with those changes, as we need a stat tracker for our broadcast.

There is a stupid amount of ads. Every time I try to do something an ad pops up. Doesn't work during a fast paced game like basketball. Uninstalled.

I Only Fiddled With It For A Spurt; bt It's Ok, (1) I Just Wish They'd Use Letters For Categories Instead of Icons, & My Memory Kinda Fuzzy (lol) (2) Can't Delete Teams, & (3) Needs More Colors For Jersey Icons.........bt Designing A Baseball & Football App Like This, Would Be Appreciated As Well

Make more options : More colors for teams. Make spreadsheet printable with good layout. Glad to see you actually reply to these though. Keep it up, im impressed with a developer for once

This app would be perfect if there was an 8 min option for quarter time. Most highschools play 8 min quarters

Agree with the other reviewer most U.S. middle school, high school and AAU teams are likely to have more than 12 players upwards of 17 for AAU. Too bad looks like a cool app with the DnD UI.

Very very useful, I use it every weekend with my kids team and couldnt be more satisfied, 100% recommended

Doesn't work well on a smartphone because the controls are too small. More thought needs to be put into the interface as I find it hard to enter every stat I want. However this one tracks a large variety of stats and is the only one I found that tracks playing time.
