About Blindfold
Blindfold is the world’s first private dating app created by Certified Professional Matchmakers*. Our new, fun approach to dating allows you to meet quality people – whilst allowing you to remain anonymous, for professional and reputational reasons. Who said online dating had to be embarrassing?
Every day at 9am (GMT+8), start your day with a new match, specially selected for you. Blindfold focuses on serving people who:
• Are too busy to go through thousands of profiles on traditional dating sites,
• Have higher standards than “Hot or Not”,
• Are looking for meaningful friendships and relationships, and
• Are genuinely single**
Our algorithm matches you with eligible singles in your area, within your desired age range, and are friends of your friends***. This greatly reduces your chances of meeting weirdos! The Blindfold team also screens each profile to control the quality of users and matches.
How Blindfold works:
1. At 9am (GMT+8) daily, Blindfold sends you ONE anonymous match.
2. You have 24 hours to start a private chat.
3. In your private chat room, click the “Blindfold” button once you feel comfortable. When both parties have clicked, your pictures will be revealed.
4. Set a date to meet before the chat expires
* Blindfold’s creators are certified by the Matchmaking Institute (USA), WDA (Singapore), and the Love MBA (USA).
** Verification only available in Singapore. Users’ NRIC/FIN numbers will be verified with Singapore’s Registry of Marriages to ensure they are not currently married. Users outside Singapore will declare that they are not currently married by accepting Blindfold’s Terms and Conditions.

All photo to be used on app should be quality checked by your staff. To ensure the photo uploaded is clear and the face can be seen after photo being revealed. Bad experience with this after my first reveal of photo. Feel cheated. Have stopped using it.

Always prompt me that the app cannot connect and to check my network settings. Gotta re- install the app again for it to work momentarily and now it's back to not able to connect status.. hopefully this can be solved and it will be a very good app.

App has been malfunctioning for few days. Always have this pop up saying connecting to chat service. Pointless when u got few matches but u cannot start any conversations. Old chats have bugs that arent updated. Used the in app messaging to contact developers but no replies. Going to remove this bugged and useless app

In my humble opinion, this app is a waste of time to download. The pictures are blurred so you can't see much. Next, it's a ghost town there and no one bothers to reply. Maybe the profiles are all dummy and fake. Maybe nobody bothers because the pictures are all so small and blurred. Or maybe this app is just a gimmick and a total waste of time.

I have never believed in dating apps where you do not get to see the other person at the outset, but I have been very pleasantly surprised to have had much higher quality conversations so far with Blindfold, and the girls do take off their blindfolds after a couple of back and forth texts anyway after they are comfortable with you. Was lucky enough to meet someone on Blindfold who is potentially my dream girl (hope she does not see this, or maybe I do?), so fingers crossed. Thanks Blindfold!
